Well, i don't listen to Destruction that much myself anyway. (Only when Shuffle brings them up on winamp / mp3 player) I still dig their stuff. Especially the older stuff. Just sex.
Does anyone know of any decent metal that has banjo in it? I did a search on metal archives and got 28 results but I don't know which ones use the instrument more prominently than just in an intro or which ones aren't terrible.
What about something like this? SLAUGHTER OF THE BLUEGRASS!!

Little update on Wintersun's new album. Seems like he's still having some problems but summer shows sounds awesome. Probably won't do Soni or tour normally though :v: They pulled out of Bloodstock last year. I expect they'll go to that this year.
Hour and a half before the show starts
I must say I disagree with this. Hour and a half before the doors open if you really want a good spot. [editline]19th March 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/2cf72fa18b1aadd512ed8976f049378c.png[/img_thumb] Little update on Wintersun's new album. Same Wish I bought Ki back when I saw him, selling signed copies for £13 :argh: But I only brought £30 spending money so I dont' spend too much and was saving for a hoodie the hoodie was shit so I didn't buy it and then I had £15 left over after buying a shirt instead so I could have bought both :smith:

What do you guys think to <cross>? I've heard it described as progressive black metal.

I've heard it described as progressive black metal.
I can totally hear some -core stuff in the guitars, and a little bit in the vocals Progressive blackcore? :v: maybe not enough to have core in the name though
HO LY FUCK This is definitely some of the best fucking metal I have heard in a LONG time. It's like progressive brutal melodic technical deathgrind Holy fuck bloody amazing] Such a great, fat, violent tone on the guitars and the drums are insane. I was a little taken back by the vocals honestly, not really what I expected. Very brutal death style, as opposed to a more melodic death metal style I was expecting. But still works very well
I don't really like that kind of music, but I REALLY like the intro solo at ~0:40
That was fucking awesome. I'm gonna go find more of their stuff now, thanks for sharing
posted it on The Black Dahlia Murder's facebook wall, knowing Trevor(their vocalist) would like them, and he recommended me this band: Similar stuff, apparently the same singer, sweet :buddy:
