AC/DC have put on the best show I've ever been to, that doesn't automatically mean everyone I know likes them v:v:v
I've seen AC/DC live, it was cash. Gotta love the 20 min solo
Does anyone else remember the pre-mallcore metalcore bands that were actually good? Devildriver Trivium Roadrunner United Killswitch Engage Old, old, old Atreyu 36 Crazyfists Chimaira Ill Nino Lamb of God

Old metalcore is good. Once you hit 2006 then it all goes downhill from there.
Lamb of God and DevilDriver, metalcore? Huh?
I don't know if you're trying to make jokes about the fact that I enjoy those bands or that I classified them as metalcore.
Lamb of God and DevilDriver, metalcore? Huh?
That's more like groove-metal.
The classification. They're groove metal. Fucking love them as well :respek:
Old LOG was good. Kind of entry way stuff for metal. Sacrament was excellent.
I dislike when people say 'old "insert band name here" was good'. Particularly In Flames. Just shows you're slightly close minded when it comes to bands experimenting. New LoG is just as excellent as Sacrament.

I liked their old melo-death sound they had on Jester Race then their newer sound on A Sense of Purpose. It's just a matter of opinion.
Omerta is excellent. One Gun is a great song too. [editline]29th March 2011[/editline]
Not necessarily close minded. I didn't like the direction In Flames went. I should've worded that to say that I hate people who wish bands who do that would go back to their original style. I mean, I'd be over the moon if In Flames went back to The Jester Race style, but I honestly don't care, because I've enjoyed each of their albums and I am definitely getting Sounds Of A Playground Fading.
Good old fashioned sludge :3
They definitely won't go back to their old style.

Okay so Which Mastodon album should I listen to first [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] Going to go with Remission
Crack The Skye is the most accessible and imo the best Then Leviathan Then the other two however you want I guess

Pre-Howard Killswitch Engage isn't mallcore :colbert: The Empire Shall Fall Mutiny Within
these are all mallcore bands
Pre The End of the Hearthache Killswitch Engage was not mallcore whatsoever. Devildriver's Fury of Our Maker's Hand wasn't mallcore, Trivium's Ascendency, Roadrunner United was just eclectic as fuck, old Atreyu was sort of :p, 36 Crazyfists was never popular enough to be mallcore. Oh, and Ill Nino was never as well known to be mallcore at all :/.

Guys, I had a brilliant idea. Performing "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, then after the solo, both guitars stop playing, leaving only the bass and drums going. The first guitars starts soloing, then the second one, which causes a guitar battle. After that, both guitars play the same line in a different pitch. They play it faster and faster until stopped. Then, a bass solo starts. The bassists ends with a specific line which both guitars follow after. After some time, even the drums go in accordance with the line. It all ends with a drum solo. When the drummer stops, he counts in and the song continues. What would you think?
Solos are lame
bugger off calkkuna that's a great idea
I feel that solos are so cliche now, i just go  whenever i hear one
Solos are never that good to listen to any more for me.
