Chiddy Bang Death Grips Scroobius Pip (Mainly spoken word, but kinda falls under hip-hop)
Got a couple of Pip's albums.
Can anyone suggest me some Psychadelic Rock please?
If you want something all happy and stuff get the Zombies' Odessey and Oracle. If you want something more mind-blowingly far out check out Can's Tago Mago.
Oh, for more rap get: Das Racist The Cool Kids
Most of the stuff is atmospheric and drone based stuff. "Imperial Household Orchestra" album is where I'd start, always headphones with that. [editline]30th July 2011[/editline] He's influenced by Prince and Marvin Gaye, you'll like those too :)
field recordings is by definition the most diverse genre to exist [editline]30th July 2011[/editline]
I could do with some Rap, my library is lacking.
[editline]30th July 2011[/editline]
Can anyone suggest me some Psychadelic Rock please?
13th Floor Elevators
field recordings is by definition the most diverse genre to exist
It makes me feel as if I'm hugged by weird sounds. :smugdog: [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] and whoever wanted Psych Rock... go for Silver Apples.
Does anyone have any post-rock similar to the sounds of Talk Talk and Bark Psychosis? I've checked out Mark Hollis's solo album.
something like this pie? [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] or this
For the first one, that is a really nice song. although I'm looking for something with more rock instruments. Still, I will check Jaga Jazzist out sometime. the second one is really far off. Too loud. boring. I don't like it. [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] not loud volume wise if you know what I mean. I'm not explaining it very well.
yeah I get you, it's hard to find Bark Psychosis things. I preferred their second album, but the first is a whole other style which I can't explain.
Can anyone suggest me some Psychadelic Rock please?
Tame Impala
Silver Apples could have been so much more I mean a large amount of the general public hated the fuck out of them but loads of stars like Lennon said they were the next big thing, pity they never got that far
in the 60s most people hated something that was loud and different.
I just listened to and greatly enjoyed Michael Manring's Thonk. What album of his shall I listen to next?
I'd just go through his catalogue bro. Franke knows a lot about great bass stuff so he's the man for more of that.
