Even though all of those four are very good ambient music makers. It's not exactly what I'm looking for.
As you maybe noticed in the Deus Ex soundtrack, it doesn't have a drum beat or anything loud except for the piano tunes.
That's what I'm looking for, extremely calm music with barely no beat at all, and yet a joyful melody to it.
These kind of songs are so rare that I only remember one other that has a simillar "style"

Ambient drone seems to be what your after. aside from stars of the lid, try William Basinski (get the album Melancholia if the other stuff from him is too minimalist and long). Natural Snow Buildings is also great but there's a lot of breaks from the ambient into more folky guitar stuff, but that gives it nice variety. The Dead Texan is one of the members from Stars and it's also great stuff. Biosphere does some stuff like this aswell, check out his collaboration with Deathprod
Tim Hecker's music is very textured and warm but it's basically like this stuff.
The album "No Pussyfooting" by Brian Eno and Robert Fripp is an earlier example of stuff like this which is really great.

when playing through HR the soundtrack kept bringing daft punk's tron soundtrack to mind. i'm not sure if parts of it fit how slow it is to you or if it's what your asking for but it's extremely similar in terms of sound imho (derezzed doesn't count)
