Checked out all of these out and they are amazing, especially The Zombies. Thank you.
You might also like the first Pink Floyd album Piper at the Gates of Dawn, which is really different from other Floyd stuff, and the subsequent Syd Barret solo albums.

Also get your hands on Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, 1965–1968. It's kind of pricey seeing as it's a four-CD box set but the satisfaction is very long lasting.

actually there does exist just a regular one CD but you get less music of course
I'm looking for dreamy, emotional, "trippy" music in the vein of Pink Floyd, M83, Mogwai or Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
Anyone know of any artists/soundtracks which heavily incorporate 8-bit instruments in their music?
Not pure 8-bit like the videos above, more like a hybrid of modern and 8-bit instruments like Super Meat Boy or Scott Pilgrim.

I want something similar to Red hot chili peppers.
Covers can turn out pretty well, if you ask me. +1 respect to Bluegrass.

Best songs from the album(Velvet Underground & Nico)
Hey, I'd like to expand my music library a little more, so here's some bands I like:

These are the three bands I mostly listen to, I also listen to Paramore, Jonsi, and Kimya Dawson. I would love more of bands like Port Blue and Florence + The Machine.
Any suggestions?
I think Sparrow and the Workshop sounds kinda similar to Florence + The Machine
