Gotta be more specific, otherwise just look for albums by the same people and alike.
Well, more country-ish stuff that isn't way too... country and that "surf music" like I asked before, stuff like Jack Johnson or Donavon Frankenreiter, but a little more like the ones I posted
Does anyone know any good japanese folk music?
Does anyone know any good japanese folk music?
Depends what you mean by folk, do you want traditional or guitar based? This guy is awesome.

You're after soft vocal jazz, then you're looking for stuff like Norah Jones, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and the likes. Try these albums too, for more traditional stuff: shame noone talks about female musicians..

My favourite one is Julie London, soooo sensuual. You also have Etta James, who is more of a blues and soul influenced jazz singer
Can someone recommend me Johnny Cash's best albums?

Or if you're looking for older stuff, then Gram Parsons and Neil Young are pretty awesome as well. Hope that helps. Hello everyone, I am looking for some acoustic music right now. It should not be complex in any way, but simply some chilling, simple even tinkling tunes. Something like this, maybe without vocals. Any ideas? Also I do not want to hear any latin style of music like Rodriguez et Gabriela. Anyone know any good piano-only (or at least piano-centric) music? I'd prefer slower, more relaxing songs.

Yann Tiersen is an awesome modern classical composer, he has a lot of piano pieces but also some really weird stuff with accordions or telephones and shit. [editline]8th May 2012[/editline] I learned how to play this one, very simple yet astonishing.
