So I'm loving this really hypnotic repetitive pop stuff like Spacemen 3 and Stereolab, give me more.
also, I'm dying for more music like Dinosaur Jr.'s "You're Living All Over Me". Sonic Youth and Yo La Tengo don't quite go in the direction I'm looking at though
Try some albums by "Mew".
Although it might not be exactly what you're after, they're worth checking out.

It automatically gives you great recommendations based on your library and you are a lot more likely to become interested in discovering new things.
It's a great tool.

Been ages since I heard this last, I must do that.

I thought about making my own thread, becuase I want so many suggestions as possible, but I'll just try here first. :v:
I really need more music on my iPod, I'm so sick and tired of my current playlist, here's even a top 10 most played on it currently:

I'm currently mostly in to Electronic (DnB, Trance (No vocals if possible), Techno), Metal, rock and soundtracks. I'm really open to anything by now. :buddy:

You have a pretty big variety of "starter" artists. I'd honestly recommend going through a few people's laast.fms and giving their top5 artists a go.

As someone who loves Arcade Fire and barely knows any other indie rock, what should I listen to?
Also, does anything know anything similar to..

Modest Mouse, Portugal. The Man, The New Pornographers, Deerhunter, Surfer Blood
Just read Pitchfork. They're pretensions douche bags half the time but the bands in their Best Of lists are usually pretty good
Give me music where it feels like you're in a futuristic world.
Thank you.

check out Aphex Twin's Hangable Auto Bulb EP under the name AFX, iirc it has a large kraftwerk influence
Omar Rodriguez Lopez - Calibration (Is Pushing Luck and Key) (progressive rock maybe, "rather loud" album)
Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost (psytrance)
not too sure about the latter two but calibration tends to make extensive use of odd electronic sounds and voices, it kinda sounds like an album you'd hear at a later point in time in my opinion, then again it also has violins and etc... but oh well. shpongle's just kinda weird like that
it's hard to understand what you're trying to get at but i'm kinda confident the first thing will fit your needs, especially arched maid via rdj
there's also boards of canada which should be kinda obvious about now, most namely music has the right to children
