I really liked the Dredd soundtrack, anything similar to it? I don't usually listen to that genre of music, so I don't really know what to look for
Anything similar to early Jimmy Eat World? Already got the Get Up Kids.
Any electronic artists with a bit of similar tune?
Any electronic artists with a bit of similar tune?
Do you mean similar to She generally, or just similar to Atomic?
Definitely just generally.
Try LukHash. His last two albums sound similar to Pioneer and Chiptek [editline]5th January 2013[/editline] Not sure if Daniellynet checks this thread, but he can probably point you to some good stuff
Anything similar to this song? The indie rock element is what I'm looking for. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYX-hI0aQVA
Check out Mystery Jets if you haven't already.

Welp. I could do with some new music. I like: Andrew Bird, Audioslave, Eddie Vedder/Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Clutch, The White Soots, Electric Wizard, Elbow, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I generally really like catchy, melodic songs that use instruments. If I could suggest any of my favorite bands to anyone, I'd definitely suggest Andrew Bird first. He is a musical genius. He is the only artist in which I like every track in every album. Sample:
You should check out this station it has pretty good songs on. http://977music.com/flashplayer/hitz/4.php

Anybody know some good post-2000 ska bands, besides anything that involves Tomas Kalnoky or Jeff Rosenstock?
Hey guys I like Breakbot, Ellie Goulding, madeon and similar artists. Any good recommendations ?
I'm looking for similiar songs like this, it has good "pacing" (or whatever its called) and the guys singing sound like they are singing from the very bottom of their heart and it's not some romantic song either. Or something, I hope you know what I mean.
If you want Beatles-y stuff, give Pink Floyd a shot.
oh my god
Any songs like this? I love the vocals in combination with the waltz beat and the simple guitar/ukelele. Really relaxing.
I really need some good music recommendation. I will just list some of the music I like: Blues GOA (Mostly old stuff cause I can't find many good new goa compilations) Psy-bient,trance etc. (carbon based lifeforms, shulman, shpongle, solar fields, sync24, and such) Really good dubstep (either epic drops or very deep and chill atmosphere) Buckethead, Satriani I can appreciate Aphex Twins genius but he is not for me (at least not while I'm sober) I used to love stuff like ac/dc, metallica, pink floyd, but I just got bored, now I seek some nice sound modulation as in electronic music.
something acoustic, just one guy singing and playing
something acoustic, just one guy singing and playing
Try Nick Drake's Pink Moon

I've been listening to a lot of Daft Punk lately, can someone recommend anyone that sounds like their Discovery/Human after all stuff?
I've been listening to a lot of Daft Punk lately, can someone recommend anyone that sounds like their Discovery/Human after all stuff?
alive 2007 is the only album of theirs worth hearing tbh, you'll like it.
I've been listening to a lot of Daft Punk lately, can someone recommend anyone that sounds like their Discovery/Human after all stuff?
Justice's last album had a sorta Daft Punk-y sound. I don't like it, but if you're into DF you'll prob dig it. You should check out their first album too. Not very DF-y but you still might dig it anyways.
I'd love to have more music like Karl Buhre, but I'm terrible at finding it, could you people help me?
Can somebody suggest a good ambient album along the lines of Brian Eno, Stars of the Lid, Brian McBride, A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Hammock, etc.?
