Haha I love people like you.
Is it actually possible then? I've been ill for the past few years and have had to basically teach myself most of this stuff.
Doing A-Levels here and I'm almost done with exams, just got 3 left on Wednesday :| AM Physics - 120min PM Decision - 90min Mechanics - 90min
My best experience, would have to be, revising everything we were told to for an RE exam, and then going into the exam feeling confident, only to have the questions on nothing we had revised. I think I almost killed myself, I wanted to demand those wasted hours of my life back.
just a question, anyone here from a grammar school?
I am :) Done my Business Studies paper one and Maths N6 today.
did anyone get the question (27/8) to the power of -2/3 ???!!! it was imposible
^ Post above the post above. I'm in Foundation maths (the retard class ha). Anybody else have Edexcel?
^ Post above the post above. I'm in Foundation maths (the retard class ha). Anybody else have Edexcel?
We have OCR, I always thought Edexcel was coursework based, because I was told that.
Did OCR maths Higher today. It had stuff we never revised, as well as types of questions that never appeared on an exam before. The questions were deliberately written in the most complicated way possible, and I had to do 9b three times because it was so poorly worded that I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Then it turns out the invigilators made a mistake when they gave me the extra paper, so I had to copy the question out again afterwards. Still, I think I did well.

History on wednesday, not looking forward to it.
I have history and science next week. I'm just looking forward to get them out of the way, I've been revising for ages!
did anyone get the question (27/8) to the power of -2/3 ???!!! it was imposible
The answer I got was 1/225. Cube root of 27 and 8 got you to 3/2 then square it makes 9/4. 9 is 2.25 4s. Then the negative makes the 2.25 a decimal I think.
You GCSE and A level students who think the workload is causing you stress I laugh at you. Wait until you get into the real world and have a job.
oh sam clarke u so tough
English A-Level A2 tomorrow, Antigone, Lear & Chaucer anyone?
Physics AS (electrons, photons and waves) tomorrow.
You GCSE and A level students who think the workload is causing you stress I laugh at you. Wait until you get into the real world and have a job.
I didn't realise how hard it must be working at gamestop. Sorry for thinking my A-levels are tough, after all, selling games to twelve year olds must be difficult and stressful. It's not nearly as tough as life-altering exams, obviously.
did anyone get the question (27/8) to the power of -2/3 ???!!! it was imposible
The answer is 4/9. You cube root, then square both the 27 and the 8 individually to end up with 9/4. Then you flip it over because it's a minus power.
History on wednesday, not looking forward to it.
Same Here. I think I'm going to fail again. Bad in mocks, bad now.
Great, got my Mechanics test tomorrow and my second Physics. Then Psychology on Thursday and I will be done with A levels for the year.
History and Biology tomorrow.
I've just been given the option of doing a critical thinking AS on-top of my other options. On top of the compulsory subjects I am doing History, Triple Science, Computing AS and Spanish as a language. It will mean me going to a college after school once a week from 4-6pm. The thing I'm worried about is that I may end up being overloaded with work, also some people have been telling me it is a pointless subject to take. Hmm, Maths module 1(already done module 3) in 2 weeks as well.
Anyone else got French listening tomorrow?

Could have punched her :@
Had physics AS today. Reckon I did okay. If I didn't get an A, I think I did well enough in the other modules to bump me up to an A anyway.
Does anyone have the pdf for the jan 2010 ocr computing f443 paper? We went over it in school with a paper copy and the teacher was being a dick about it, i can't find the pdf's anywhere.
MATHs S2 sucked so much i hated it
I have S2 next Tuesday. Not too confident there.
Maths M1 went ok i think, same for physics. ah well no more exams until January.
