Because this woman's suicide affects us in no meaningful way whatsoever, a few posts up has a good point too.
Not to mention if we spent our lives getting upset at the death of every human being who dies that we didn't even know, we'd be depressed 24/7.
That's just plain depressing. I know that the words of a Facepunch lurk probably mean little to them, but send my condolences to the family regardless. Also, the funeral of a good friend of mine was held just the other day. He died a few days before Christmas. It sucks man. I'm sorry to hear you have to go through this though.

An uncle of mine passed away on Xmas a couple of years back, now every Xmas is quite a sad memory for our family.
my best friend from 1st grade, her boyfriend commited suicide. she also cuts her wrists now too (no joke) she changed from a funny tomboy to a depressed and literally emo girl. Im sad for her for what happened to her boyfriend and how that changed her so much.
She could've atleast thought about the impact it would get on various family members and done it on another day. Not saying she should even do it, but rather on another day than christmas eve.

What? Going on with your life is the worst possible thing especially for family. You need to talk to them and make them feel better. Pretending to not care might make them think they're useless.
My mom jumped from the balcony(we live at the 6'th floor) while I was out to buy some groceries when I was around 12 years old.
I know what he's going trough now and all I can say is that he needs to have his friends supporting him, so go and be by his side.

I know how ye feel lad. My uncle suicided as well. Not on the xmas eve tho. But yes,he did long ago. I was sleeping,then my mom woke me up and said " Your uncle suicided. " Those words shocked me...

Tomorrow is her funeral. FUCK, I'm nervous.
But I remember I was at my cousin's grandpa's funeral(I didn't know him) and when I gave my condolences to his wife(she was like 60 or more years old) and shaked her hand, she didn't let go. She said in tears:
"Please, please, love eachother. Love your girlfriend, love your friends, love your family, don't hate eachother, because you have no idea, how this hurts. Please, just love eachother." and I said:"We will we will,..." Her son had to drag her away from me to stop her. And then she burst into tears again.
From that day on, I always remember her sentence, when something like this happens.
