If you ever watched space, there is an episode where the main characters have an imaginary slow mo shoot out:

Whenever i watch that scene i think of this comic:

Read every comic the last one made me extremely sad.
I read Calvin & Hobbes so much as a child and I will be absolutely sure to share the memories I had reading them with my children as well as their children.
I notice that their wagon rides always wind up as metaphors for life.
I think my absolute favorite ones were where Calvin was imagining he was a dinosaur, or a space adventurer (can't remember the name for the life of me). The art was simply amazing!

It was Spaceman Spiff.
Never read them, other than the obvious popular ones with the snowmen and the sled and whatnot.
I was 5 when it ended, and we never got the paper, so it makes sense.

These comics were my childhood. I just found a lot of the books I had... Nostalgia. :buddy:
So much nostalgia. This comic defined my childhood.
Then the internet had to go and throw some of its insanity into the mix. :frog:
I like this comic because it makes me wonder would would Calvin's future would hold
That reminds me of that one info image that compared Fight Club with Calvin & Hobbes.

that fucking strip
I read these while I was going through a rebellious stage at the age of 8.
My parents banned me from reading the comics for a while because I got to fucking smart for them and started questioning their authority.

My parents apparently liked the comic. They got me started on them in the 3rd grade, and they actually saved comic section from their local newspaper at the time that had the last Calvin and Hobbes strip in it. I wish I knew where it was.
My childhood, but I only have Revenge of the Babysat and the Essential Calvin and Hobbes.
I have had every book for years. These are the best comics ever.

This is so cute.
I've always loved the strips where Calvin reports on his dad's popularity polls.

And I'm years late. So glad I found out about this.

This and Far Side made up my comic book collection.
I guess I have them to blame for my intelligence, philosophical outlook, and complete and utter insanity.
