If you're talking about the strict rules than honestly I both understand and forgive them for it; these guys are operating at an entire magnitude above the average park mascot, to consistently pull it off for thousands of fans day-in-day-out requires not just a lot of skill and dedication, but discipline.
Yeah, plus you have to remember, its really for the kids and the entire magical experience that disney has been about forever.
Going to Disney is pretty fucking expensive, if you go for even a week. A lot of shit costs money, and you really dont have a shitload of time(line waits, park closing times). The whole point is for those familys where something like a Disney trip is a once in a lifetime thing, something they could have saved for years and years just for this one trip. Disney wants it to be perfect, and they want to set themselves a part from other parks. It shouldn't feel like just going to an amusement park with rides.
Disney is honestly an amazing experience and nothing else like it and the staff are fucking 10/10. My trip was pretty fucking perfect, got to our wilderness hotel, our cheap room wasnt ready, they gave us the fucking Vice Presidential suite for the exact same price and special concierge. VP suite was also nicer than the Presidential suite, but I think it was because the VP one is more for a family.
Best part of disneyland is going with people who've never gone before.
They always have a sort of "yeah it can't be that good" attitude, then once they step on mainstreet everything changes.
it's funny but i also think gaston isn't doing pushups right his legs are so bent and he's not going fully down doesn't that make it like 100x easier?
Well you have to think that hes in character and in a costume. Doing right form could of hurt the costume and then his character.
Oh hey, thought he looked familiar.

Holy shit when he learns their age at like 3:20 is fucking hilarious.
I remember being there a few years back and seeing the Grinch, I asked him where something was and he took the map out of my hand, threw it away, and walked off laughing.

No one's dicks as incredibly thick as Gaston's!
someone just got a bonus on their paycheck
disney likes this kind of stuff from their actors

They really do. Tip: if you had a really great moment from a cast member or a Disney character actor, make sure to pass by guest relations and tell them how much said person did a good job. If it's a character, say 'I met Gaston at around X o' clock and he was so much fun' or something like that.
I have a friend who did character work down in Orlando for a couple of years. He played Flynn Rider and did some suited work too (everyone does suited work pretty much).
He's told me some good stories, and all of them basically boil down to this: Act like its a party while working, it IS a party once work is done. Pretty much all they did was party.
It'll be cool if you have one of em as a friend. Then they get to tell you all the awesome shit going on inside.
And the less awesome shit people don't see.

It all depends on what they do. Character actor? Shit's golden, and they see everything. Essentially royalty. Character Handler? Still pretty cool, get to know everyone as well. Definitely less stressful then being an actor. You work in a stall? Peasant.
The most amazing thing is how there's this labyrinth of secret staff passageways so they can basically teleport around. Apparently some staff can go around the biggest park within like 2 minutes.
Gah, I hate watching these videos, not because of the fact that I hate them becuase of anything Disney or feeling related, but because I'm so worried that some really fucked up twist is gonna happen, even after I watch it. My brain often uses scenes of accidental child abuse when it comes to Disney stuff. Even after I watch it, it plays in my head several times after I'm done.
Still though, nice acting.

I remember hearing things that the job conditions can kind of suck, and the pay and benefits suck as well.
Keyword is that I remember hearing this somewhere, and don't have anything concrete.
A lot of the Disney actors are fucking rad
I almost wish I had that job, if I didn't hear that it kind of sucked
It does suck, but Disney knows it. From what I hear Disney is really cool about the whole thing and the actors get a ton of benefits since they know how tough the job is.
Rules I've heard about for being a Disney Actor.
#1. You must FUCKING LOVE DISNEY A WHOLE LOT! As in you've watched every single movie in their filmography. Animated and Live Action
#2. You MUST know the character you're playing as; Duh.
#3. You MUST MUST MUST Like Children. You're doing this for mostly the kiddies. There's even a awesome rule where if a kid's ice cream falls down, for example, the actor gets them another ice cream for free, because Rule #4, and main rule of Disneyland in General is...
#4. No Sad Faces are allowed at Disneyland!
The Face actors (like GASTON) get paid a lot more than the suit actors do. The Suit actors that play the major characters get more than the ones that play the more characters.
Considering the benefits I wouldn't doubt that guy has a pretty good gig.

Yes, that's the Utilidors.

Pinocchio used to scare the fuck out of me, but other than not, I'm not sure what else. It's not just Disney either, it's anything heartwarming or nice. "Look at that kid hugging her lost dog, the dog is gonna tear her throat out in a few seconds"

That's some rather unusual sentiment. Have you watched a lot of shock videos in the past?

Not sure. Intrusive thoughts?

I dunno, I have this kind of thing when watching below from tall buildings. I always imagine myself jumping from it despite not having any suicidal tendencies whatsoever.
