when is disney gonna do another 2d animated musical princess movie [editline]7th January 2015[/editline] (princess and the frog was good)
Probably never because Princess and the Frog didn't do what they wanted at the box office.

I thought that it was a budget thing with paper and supplies, didn't know they removed their entire 2D staff. Kind of wonder if Pixar and Toy Story's success has to do with it. I'm digging these videos. Everyone's having a freaking ball with their time!
Kind of wonder if Pixar and Toy Story's success has to do with it.
Actually, there was some Pixar documentary on Netflix where they basically state this was the case. It allegedly bummed out the Pixar guys and made them feel guilty as they essentially wanted to coexist with animation and not replace it. :/

But as for 2D features, it's looking grim.
