I wish there was more derilict buildings around my area, this sort of stuff looks fun.
Looks cool, dangerous though. Like the floor could just collapse into a pit of used needles. :p
I read that as, "A needle of used pits" But seriously I went exploring for old houses and shit, there's none around here. We ended up crawling into a storm drain.
Are there any websites that have a list of abandoend buildings in your area?

I have that same flashlight as you.
i would stay away from those kinda places.. just thinking about the health hazards..
i would stay away from those kinda places.. just thinking about the health hazards..
I agree, bring one of those surgical masks (the kind you use when spraypainting) and definitely some gloves.
I should try this... I live a few blocks away from an old abandoned school and some old war hospitals. I've heard some creepy stories about the place.
I just have this fear of it not really being abandoned and some crack abused hobo will like, eat me or something.
I wouldn't be that brave to go into an abandoned house. It's slightly better here in the UK due to the gun restrictions but still, a hobo/junkie could easily be sleeping there ready to attack anyone who invades his space. scary shit.
Generally I don't consider anyone in Northeastern US to be an Urbexer unless they've been to one of MA's infamous mental institutions such as Danvers State, Northampton, or Taunton. I went to Danvers once. It was brick shitting awesome.

Yeah, you need to watch out for asbestos. Maybe you should wear some kind of mask.
Damn that house is creepy :ohdear:
Scary shit man.
I haven't gone in any abandoned buildings, but my friends and I have somewhat of a hobby of getting on roofs. It is pretty fun, shools are good. We were caught once, and we were all like ":ohdear:" because they threatened to call the cops, but then I think they lightened up once they saw we were just 15 year olds dicking around, as apposed to people bangin' or smoking pot or something.
I like your hoodie, american eagle is tight.
Good thing you didn't run into a demon dude.
Damn! I never even noticed that! I have to keep this picture as a souvenir - we're no longer Loeb. We've all become Metro Grocer.
Pretty awesome house. I really want to know the story behind it. For instance, what family lived there? Why did they move out and leave most of their belongings? What was their life like? Where are they now, esp. the baby from the nursery? You have to remember that human beings once spent the majority of their lives in that building, and it's sort of a personal connection/experience when you're visiting a forgotten house.
In my experience, homeless and people squatting in abandonments will respect you as long as you respect them and their personal space, none of this "crack crazed hobos" nonsense. That being said, still exercise caution.

Pretty cool. The last time I went urban exploring was in an abandon apartment complex, it was fucking huge and alot of stuff everywhere.... But I fucking got arrested and fined $423.
The basement gave me chills. I'm going to try and get a few of my friends to do stuff like this with me... After the Black Star Canyon night hike idea failed, I think this would be a good thing to do (less risk of getting shot at by Black Star Bill - he has a shotgun and has shot at night hikers before)
Woah Black Star? I live right there. Well Tustin, but you know.
Damn, feel the need to do this now.
Samesies. Which is good timing because the weather is just getting nice here, and I found a place go in the industrial district while driving today.
:ohdear:
