People write kanji.

Without kanji, it'd be really hard to find what the context is in some cases.

It's worth adding that Japanese without kanji or spacing is really difficult to read, as separating words correctly becomes tedious (lots of room for written puns! ねえちゃんとおふろはいってる?). Spacing is not used even in modern Japanese (old European languages didn't use spacing either) exactly because kanji makes it superfluous.

日本語が面白いですよ。。文法時折大嫌が。
(I really think Japanese is interesting.. but I sometimes hate it's grammar..)

i think you would be better off using tokidoki instead of tokiori (for sometimes), it's much more common. however i'm pretty sure it's still correct.

I don't understand the context, but here are some fairly direct translations of the two messages anyway:

Sorry, it seems the order (as in sequence) [implied: accidentally] was/became reversed/inverted. Latest/recent favorite/"like" <link>

Thank you for the acknowledgement (or approval, consent).
Considering how context-sensitive it is, we need to know more to tell you what's going on.
Well, the only thing other that happened was he added me on last.fm, I wrote that message and accepted him.
Nothing else.

I've never used last.fm, but:
The first message probably thanks you for accepting the request.
The second message is probably a music recommendation.
fyi japs sometimes refer to "mycar" (マイカー) to say, well, "my car" but never call a car "カー" but rather "車” "クルマ" etc.
Also, d' ya'll know how to set the default input method of Microsoft IME to hiragana? It's been annoying me for... nearly a decade that it just switches at random and I'm wondering if there's a fix for it other than alt + capslock.

On your list of IME's move the 日本語 IME to the top. There should also be a way to set it as your primary IME somewhere in the Windows Language options.

It is pretty annoying changing it, but once you do it stays like that until you shut off your computer. Also, where is this list of IMEs? can you screen shot?

A few months back it would've been okay I guess. But that song has been beaten to death by now.
so is this thread just for japanese help or what? I think it would be good for all us learners to have a nice chat every once and a while.
well on a side note I finally got my japanese pokemon gold's battery's fixed (I bought one of those nintendo security pins) and now the saves worked great. I started playing and am writing down any vocab I don't know.

Yep, that's just from character creation! If I don't kill myself from stress, this should prove to be a very educational experience!
Might wanna work on your handwriting there bra, I can't really read some of those characters.
