Sounds a bit wooden. I think unless you have really advanced samples or vsts then real instruments recording or just straight out electronic is the way to go. Not to be rude but I can't stand the sound of a lot of computer generated pianos or drums that try to mimic their acoustic counterparts.

okay so when I was saying about how Vedicardi's idea was terrible its because it was mentioned in the same line of sentences as Cthulhu and thus I thought Vedicardi wanted to do a concept album based on a narrative about Cthulhu

so I'll rephrase and say that what I perceived as Vedicardi's idea was a TERRIBLE idea and Vedicardi's actual idea might have been alright I have no idea

I've said earlier that I have been experimenting with automatic/stream of conscious writing. It's a matter of finding a mic and recording some rants, and fucking around with FX.

it's not as if every song has to have the same vocalist or something, or has to be musically or thematically connected. It's in the "concept" of the album that you decide how it is the songs are conceptually connected, if it be simply by the fact they are inspired by the same thing or that they are chained together to tell a story.
