I think "Progression of Life" is a good idea, but I think different people have different thoughts on teenage-hood and adulthood. I don't think it would be incredibly vague, if people post what they think is nostalgic to them, it would make it a collaborative effort. Where as if we all argue on who does "First relationship or Mid-Life Crisis".

Concept albums should have a cohesive storyline as far as I'm concerned If the theme is ambiguous, may as well just be the collaborative album, since everyone's stuff will be put in without any relationship between songs [editline]17th November 2011[/editline] EG Progression of Life, Nostalgia, or any of those ideas up there

Not all concept albums have to be stories about something. Songs that are symbolic with the theme, make sense. It's just different elements rather than a "Part 1, Part 2, Part 3" album. Seriously, I there are literally no albums like that.

Rate Accordingly - Descent into Madness (for some reason) - tick - Kids run from home and discover - cross - Writings from HP Lovecraft - funny - Historical Events - winner - How hard it is to fit in - zing - Fighting against Dictators - informative - The media dumbening down people's minds. - friendly - Process of Life - useful - Nostalgia/Childhood - optimistic - Elements of Life (Love, Fear, Anguish, Despair etc) - artistic Deadline: After a week or so.

Historical Events is really the only one of those I find an interesting concept, though we should narrow it down a bit. Maybe events during a certain period of time, such as different battles and events in WW2 or the rise and fall of the roman empire?

War through Time maybe, but yeah it's vague as fuck.
