I think the aliens from Mass Effect seem the most accurate as their all adapted for different environments and all human like features like opposable thumbs and upright posture. Except perhaps Hanar, but who knows?
Maybe they are giant insect creatures or sentient plantlife
I cant belive no one posted him yet XD
Maybe they are giant insect creatures or sentient plantlife
Much? (kudos if you know what they are)

They will either be cute little grey things or giant squids
Maybe they'd be bacteria
I bet they are all blue with glowing spots and they have weird penis ponytails and are really tall
Humans. Scientists have always compared our planet to others. A lot of them being extremely similar to ours. If there are other planets out there like ours, why can't there be other humans, or human like creatures.
Housekeepers and gardeners.
A resembling form close to humans methinks and NOT roswell greys

Why does our planet have so many species then. And Earth like doesn't mean exactly like earth, it could have massive volcanic activity, if it has more water and is slightly closer to the sun the planet could pretty much be entirely tropical and the equator could be a band of scorched rock where life managed to evolve. What then? Animals develop thicker skin or Chitin layered armour, those animals could then become bipedal or sapient and begin to use tools. They would look fuck all like us, we were one evolutionary path out of a million possible paths.

One thing for sure. If there are Turians, i want one to bro up and share a condo with.
reptile/insect or reptile/primate mix :D
reptile/insect or reptile/primate mix :D
But those are distinct animal sub classes, you can't get a mammal/insectoid/reptile mix of any kind cause their systems are dramatically different.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were quite similar in appearance to humans. We evolved this way for a reason.
I would be completely suprised if they looked anything like us. They would probably be evolving in a completely different environment with features that are beneficial in that environment, which is probably nothing like anything on Earth...
But those are distinct animal sub classes, you can't get a mammal/insectoid/reptile mix of any kind cause their systems are dramatically different.
Why not when mammal type reptiles existed in the prehistoric era? Plus its an alien concept so just a theory on something that could be anything right?
Much? (kudos if you know what they are)
This is why I support the thorough nuking of Antarctica. Lets just get Kurt Russell out of there first, though.
Alien Intelligent life could be smaller than dust mites. Who's to say they're composed of carbon? could be inorganic material
Why not when mammal type reptiles existed in the prehistoric era? Plus its an alien concept so just a theory on something that could be anything right?
Eh sorry what? Any evidence for that dude?

The only reason we're the dominant species, and evolved the way we did, is pure coincidence.

Well considering they would have to travel quite far I would assume something thats not carbon based like we are, so something completely weird.
http://www.nhm.ac.uk/nature-online/life/dinosaurs-other-extinct-creatures/non-dino-reptiles/mammal-like-reptiles/index.html
Yeah dude those were transitional states, and the fundamental systems of mammals and reptiles are conflicting, those were all still reptiles with a few minor mammalian traits (fur) they were still predominantly reptilian cause they were cold blooded. [editline]02:38PM[/editline]
Well considering they would have to travel quite far I would assume something thats not carbon based like we are, so something completely weird.
The chances are it will be carbon based as carbon can form a lot of compounds, the only other option really is silicon and that would mean crystalline, hard and brittle life forms, it's not exactly a good choice.
It explains everything.
Yeah dude those were transitional states, and the fundamental systems of mammals and reptiles are conflicting, those were all still reptiles with a few minor mammalian traits (fur) they were still predominantly reptilian cause they were cold blooded.
Yep was going to say it is all debatable with evolutionists vs creationists, however still would be cool to imagine XD I blame this dodgy sci-fi movie for the proposition :) although the book is supposed to be good...A Sound of Thunder
Krogan.
Krogan.
Krogans would be badass but I don't see it sadly :sigh: And to eski, I mentioned nothing about evolution or creationists, lets not do so cause it will be a shitstorm and I'm not in the mood for another.
