But if they become detached from reality and get fetishes etc. (which is actually uncommon for the most part I believe), that's not deserving of hatred. It's deserving of pity. It's sad to me when something like that happens.

It's terrible logic, but not worth a gigantic bump. I also suspect that to the creator of that image it's not so much about glorifying Celestia as it is about defaming Jesus/God. If it wasn't Celestia it'd probably be that trainowner guy from Thomas the Tank Engine or something.
