But people who watch anime or believe in god or have a furry fetish etc. should be allowed to do whatever they want, so long as they're not part of the group who take it too far. They might not even talk about it that much, so who are you to tell them what not to do? It's not hurting anyone. So hating it because of the minority who take it too far is absurd in my opinion.

I don't really have anything against it. If a decent one is on, I'll watch it if I have nothing better to do(don't feel like playing games or not at work).
I also found it funny how on the first two pages of this thread one person started complaining about the eyes, then more and more 'till finally someone posted a picture of The Simpsons and mentioned their eyes then suddenly everyone said it was the voices...

over there they may be fat and anti-social but that doesn't mean they all are.
Over here there are many people who watch anime and yet lead successful lives. They're volunteers, breakdancers(3 of my friends go to jams with their crew and such and also watch anime, read manga), sports players(Soccer and football mostly with a couple tennis players.) musicians(two of my friends are both a song writer, play piano, guitar and sing.) there are more but i don't want to list them unless i have to
People tend to forget that some people just thrives on their own circumstances. They are just born like that, yet they have friends, and are doing well overall. And shouldn't be considered antisocial.

However they really wanted me to watch one, and they both recommended Fullmetal Alchemist. I can say I'm glad I watched it. It was a really great story and I don't give two shits if was an anime or not.

Because I just like some that adhere to my tastes, irregardless of their country of origin, artist, or what critics and society think of it.
