It depends...
I can't stand Manga/Animes that has the same over the top plot that just makes you rage through the whole things. Aka : SUPER MUTANT / Things that have been done over and over and over again, like complicated love interest and shit like that. And it applies to a lot and I mean A LOT of manga series/anime.
I enjoy the less mainstream stuff that you can find lying around that usually takes some skills to write and shows less nudity.
Because you know, most Japanese artist always have to show girls in underwear to get the attention of their public.

That and it really turned in to shit, i used to watch shows like cowboy bebop, trigun, the older gundam show that were geared towards adults and BIG O. They where funny with adult humor and such, it wasn't also the big eye anime chick or some ridiculously stupid storyline.
Why are people trying to have people give reason for hating it? Some people are annoyed by it, It's like you can't allow for people to hate it or something.

The only anime i accutaly thought was good was Trigun. Black Lagoon is also good.
From my understanding, what FP hates isn't really the medium, but the fans. They see a lot of freakishly-obsessed fans, and don't want to be like them, so they reject the medium. Ironically, that's what most people do with PC gaming: they see a bunch of die-hard elitist assholes, and reject the arguably-superior games.
I haven't really tried anime much, but I'm open to it. I'll be asking for suggestions once I have enough free time to try some.
