I sent him something on tumblr asking how Steam sucks, but EA can get away with a whole bunch of shit.
I'm expecting to be called a fanboy.
haha wow, this guy cant be serious?
Lmao this is great. What a drone
Less than a minute after the extremely long intro it was obvious this guy is an idiot. Saying he isn't going to approve or read comments that say the good things about Steam or comments that try to convince him he is wrong is pathetic.
He looks like a nerdier version of Tommy from power rangers

I wouldn't push this guy too much,

Mildly disturbed he would choose to label this scene how to handle bullying.

What the fuck?

So the solution to bullying is to murder your bully in cold blood? Sounds like a school shooter in the making.

He reminds of those annoying people at Gamestop a few years back, where they would judge you if you trade in a game. Fortunately PC gaming has resolved this problem. There's been countless times where I tell them I'm not happy with the game I purchased.
"origin has exactly the same problems, but it has livestreaming"
uhhhhhhh
I just sent him a folder containing the two pages of this topic from Mediafire.
I wonder how he'll react.
And it's done:
"Why are you pushing this? Why do you think I care what the facepunch community thinks of me? I hadn't heard of that website until yesterday. Take it somewhere else."
hehehe

Can someone please ask him if his opinion on EA changed after the whole sim shitty incident.
I'll never understand people who have an opinion about something and just refuse to listen to anybody who might have different opinions about the same subject. Seems really, really childish to me
yeah pretty much
if you're going to make a video on a controversial opinion, allow people to argue with you.

that wasn't a huge change at ea, tho, that was just a pretty crummy game with a pretty awful release.
"hah, i'm an asshole and i know it :^)!!"
i hate people like that

That fucking smiley. It gets to me.
Did anyone sit through the intro? Fedoras, Ponies, Wine glasses and Lightsabers. This guy cannot be serious.
apple juice in a wine glass with pony sticks while in a fedora with his lightsaber
glabor material right there
That fucking smiley. It gets to me.
It brims me with rage.
jesus fuck this guy is like a strawman incarnate
I love the fact that he isn't ignoring the pro-Steam comments he said he'd ignore, and is instead taking the time to prepare acerbic responses to every last one before releasing them.
There's something fundamentally wrong with your argument if you have to spend more time putting up safeguards for it than you do putting your views forward - it's the YouTuber equivalent of wearing a tin foil hat to block government radio signals.
I also hate that the term DRM has become such an evil-sounding word that it's basically this guy's entire argument.
Just from what everything I've seen from this guy, he's trying so hard to be like Yahtzee. Even going so far as to copy his art style.

Wow. Browsing his channel, I can only find more proof of this. He's just covering intentionally controversial topics in rambling fashion in what I can only describe is a demented parody of Yahtzee.
It brims me with rage.
*<:o)
the clown is worse
Why does that one redheaded fuck wear a "fedora" unironically? Is it just to spite haters? It's 2013 he should know better. Jesus that intro just screams NARCISSIST.

the difference between him and Yahtzee is that
1. Yahtzee's a mature adult.
2. He's a perfectly reasonable man outside his videos, see Extra Punctuation for more details.
3. His arrogance is mostly for laughs. That, and he doesn't even compare to levels of Bhaalspawn.
I wonder if he actually opened that file I sent him. I asked him, but so far I haven't had any replies.
And I do ponder if he knows that Facepunch is one of the largest gaming communities on the web.
oh, and this is what he said about comment approval (again):
"There comes a time in every argument where a person needs to be told to shut up. On the Internet, this is quite often the catalyst for a stirring protest about how the person’s free speech rights are being violated. As far as I’ve learned from my time on the Internet, First Amendment rights are violated whenever any of the following happen:
A person is told to shut up by a moderator or administrator.
A person is told to shut up by an ordinary community member.
A person is told their ideas are stupid.
I’m not sure how any of these things violate an amendment limiting the powers of government to curb free speech, considering that the government is completely uninvolved here, but I can’t imagine so many people would complain about this if it wasn’t true. So I guess there is some invisible ink in the Constitution about it being illegal to say mean things to a person.
The reality is that I run this blog and channel. I make the rules here. This is not a democracy. I don’t have to allow comments or listen to feedback. That’s a courtesy."
I'm not trying to defend him, but he has a point on Steam as DRM, it's essentially the same "always on" system that people freaked out over when EA and Blizzard used, and offline mode just plain does not work and is a useless feature as it assumes you'll know when your internet or the Steam servers will go out in advance. I'll admit it's not as buggy as those but it still is the same concept in that regard.
He's also probably right that someone had an aneurysm at the idea of a guy liking EA.

He does make a few valid points but the real problem lies in his attitude.
I'm willing to bet that if he acted like a reasonable person and planned his video carefully, we wouldn't hate him that much.
But when you act as if you and your four friends are the sole voices of reason in the great sea of the Internet, while adapting an arrogant, condescending and all around douchebag tone...that's when the problem starts rolling in.
also he's racist towards Americans so he would probably get banned from Mass Debate or Sensational Headlines within minutes
edit: he just said this about people who like Valve in a mailbag video he made:
"Valve fans have reached a level of pathetic that I haven’t seen in years."
I wonder if he mentions Facepunch but fuck me if I'm sitting through 22 minutes for that. Also:
"Hello Pot. This is Kettle. What's that? You say I'm black? Well I think you should know I'VE BEEN FUCKING YOUR WIFE."

Offline mode works aslong as you signed on that computer as the latest login, no need to do it in the advance.

He's practically admitting that he's made this video to troll people by saying all of that.
