Milk, where did you get the implication that she or I wasn't already using said tools or not deliberately following those types? What I was getting at was people who were in complete & total denial of a community culture problem or acting like it does not exist. Even without following those types it still comes out and many (like her) are attacked for thier artwork just because it doesn't appeal to their absolute standards.

Those kind of people exist everywhere, though, not just Tumblr. Like, every forum or website has [I]those people[/I] that think that they're the best ever and superior to everyone. That doesn't excuse their behavior, tho.

Tumblr is like a modular website. You get the special snowflake super-specific disease/sexuality/cheeseknife types if you look for them. You get cool art if you look for it. You get porn if you follow porn blogs. You get 'I AM SO DONE' if you follow people who are likely to reblog that. It's what you make of it.
