I liked that, I've always liked the Empire better than the Rebs. I thought that helmet fade thing was a neat idea. The rock music was fine imo. My only gripe was that the briefing board didn't have the sound from the games when a blip is added to it. I love that sound.
It's nice to see that they remembered that Rebel fighters have shields, whilst TIE fighters don't. Although the 'hero' in the standard TIE fighter probably shouldn't have been able to shrug off a direct hit to the wing like that.
Aren't the panels on the sides just heatsinks/radiators? I remember somebody trying to explain their (otherwise completely retarded) structure that way. If they aren't that they might be solar panels. Either way they shouldn't be crucial for immediate functioning of the fighter.

However, Rule of Cool applied here, which is fair enough.
like fire in space when the ships explode? You're right.
So you are telling me that the people on the ships don't breath oxygen? So you are telling me that the spaceships don't use some fuel for propulsion? So you are telling me that the super heated plasma blaster hits on a relatively cold piece of metal exposed to space won't lead to a sudden reaction exposing said oxygen and fuel to said immense heat causing explosions? [editline]28th March 2015[/editline] i am lovin it
To be fair, TIE fighters don't have atmospheres.
ya but the size of the explosions are not comparable to the amount of oxygen such a vessel could contain
Since when is Star Wars considered hard sci-fi?
ya but the size of the explosions are not comparable to the amount of oxygen such a vessel could contain
yeah guys, Star Wars actually happened and is scientifically accurate, this is just a bad documentary.
