Sucks that he killed himself. It's just stupid that so much of being in high school is keeping in with the right crowd and not getting on the bad side of the 'cool kids'.

He was in 8th grade, a year shy of high school.
It's pretty sad because his Father blames it on computers and the internet, while I agree the internet makes it worse; it seems as if his Father never tried to be a friend and a man to his son. Sometimes your father is the best friend you could have and it doesn't seem that he really tried to be one here. Infact; it doesn't seem like his parents cared at all to talk to their son, leading to this.
Children typically don't want to upset their parents and typically don't see them as people. They don't see them as friends but protectors and providers they have to make proud. I see my father as a man and as my friend, that's why I love him so much.
TL:DR, No Vital Friendship with Parents.
Wow that's sad. Thank god I've never been bullied. Except of course the normal boy to boy talk.
We should find out the Facebook account of the bitch that turned him down. I'm sure her life will be just as terrible as Ryan's if it's raided by us and/or 4chan.
I am bullied, I got red hair, freckles, i'm an academic, pimples, the chicks in my classes hate me so people think I'm homosexual. Thanks to bullying, i'm sardonic, sarcastic, snide, arrogant, a general asshole, and very violent, I got this persona about the same time I started getting bullied at my high school. :(
What a fucking pussy.
SERIOUSLY.
People go to war and see people dying every day. The medics there see blast wounds and terrible things.
THAT'S something to be sad about. THAT'S something to go away from fucked up.
Not a rumor about you being gay. Seriously, pussy.
I'm not sure if you knew this but bullying can be many times worse than seeing someone die on a battlefield.
There is a massive difference between physical shit, as you said, wounds and death, and psychological shit, bullying etc.
It's unbelievable what bullying can do to a person. Also I don't get the people that are doing that to people, they should see, what it does to a person. Haters can influence a life, completely.
reading this... makes me happy with what I have although I have never had a girlfreind or have that many freinds.
Why i dont have any emotion response to the kids suicide, its a pity seeing someone end their life because of the actions of someone else.
seriously, that kid who bullied him was in need to feed his ego, preying on someone naturally submissive to him, he finds someone who the lowest common denominator and picks on them.
While the death might not mean much to the bully then, in 2003 (?), imagine now or in a few years time? the amount of guilt hanging on his shoulders would be seriously damaging, I hope he lives with it looming over him for the rest of his life.
He was in 8th grade, a year shy of high school.
8th grade is high school where I live.
That's fucked up.
I kinda wish I was this kids friend, I would stand up for him, I stand up for my friends.
Shame this kids friends weren't around at the time to stick up for him and if they were there and saw it all happen and just remained silent then they weren't his friends to begin with IMO
If you can't handle some stupid bullies how are you gonna handle real life? I mean...I'm not trying to justify it but I think it's a valid point
This is creepy.
I've been bullied but shit, he killed himself, it must've been tough :saddowns:
What dicks.
Also since I don't think it's been said but
I hope that girl that broke his heart dies alone, afraid, with no one to love, std's and an over-fucked,over-used, flappy vagina and asshole.
Stupid fucking cunt.

ahahaahahh what? Just reading the first sentence made me laugh. What does the guy who beats you up at junior high bring grenades to school?
Probably don't want to try and compare bullying to war. Also there's a reason people are bullied it is not like they are just picked at random. It's cause their pussies.
This is a terrible story, there are just too many cases like this today.

No

Sounds like something that happens to you.
Truly sad, for those of you who may contemplate suicide because of bullying. Don't do it. There's so much more to life than what you think. We spend maybe 1/5th of our lives in school and it's such a shame to see a young person take his life over something that could have been avoided. Love yourself enough to understand there are people in life you have truly touched, and in the long run when those bullies leave school they will amount to nothing.
I'd be pretty upset if I called someone gay then they went and killed themselves, I know it's obvious that the bullying went on for a while but to know you were the one to push them over the edge and you didn't know about it :frown:
:sigh:
My life was like that when I was in Middle school...
I was bullied for years, I didn't kill myself over it all I did was find inside hobbies and became the idle anti-social prick I am today.
I have to admit I was one of those guys who made fun of people, but I felt bad after a while and became friends with the person before something bad happened. Turns out they have a lot in common with me.
I'm bullied too, I have the patience of a saint though, so I ignore the trolls.
Besides from the bullies, the people surrounding him are big big cowards not daring to put a stop on the bullying.

Why aren't you confronting them? Why aren't you asking why they are doing as they do? Ignoring things is bad.

They're not intelligent enough to understand that.
