To be fair to kitty, if it was like 3-4 years ago, at Kitty's age, people change a lot.
Gonna have to agree on this, right now i'm 17, and kitty is what... around the same age? Alot of shit has gone down in my life since I was 13, I've gained new interests but kept my old ones. I've changed alot, and I can tell kitty has. One thing that can be truely said is Kitty has and always will be a slight douche. But Remember, he has changed alot. (Maybe not in a good way, but he has changed) Teenage years are the best years but not for your brain.
The arguments in this thread are retarded, if being gay was a choice, would homophobia suddenly become okay? Hating people for being a furry/brony/gay/disabled/anything is fucking dumb.
I often see that the haters are worse than the people in the fandom in the first place. They are more annoying, stupid and go to the further extreme than the ones in the fandom.
stop being retarded it's like a 2008 timewarp in this thread
no i can be retarded all i want [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] itt:
just because furries havent been oppressed to the same standard doesnt mean that furry hate isnt completely irrational in the same way as homophobia.
please dont compare transphobia/homophobia to discrimination towards a fandom they simply dont exist on the same level and no one is saying that discrimination towards furries is rational
Being a zoophile =/= being a furry Being a zoophile is not a concious choice Being a furry is The end
Why are you people rating this disagree? Don't most of you agree with the fact that pedophiles do not consciously choose to be attracted to children? Why are zoophiles different? facepunch you funny [editline]24th November 2012[/editline]
please dont compare transphobia/homophobia to discrimination towards a fandom they simply dont exist on the same level and no one is saying that discrimination towards furries is rational
Why is it any different? It's still hating people "because I don't like them."
alright everyone the furry debate is BACK welcome to 2007!! [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] also he says "like 3 or 4 years ago" when it was 1 year ago? [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] i got nothin against him though lol whatever
This is very odd, we're still in an argument yet there's no way to contribute towards either side anymore. [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] on-topic: Kitty is an asshat
I always thought furries were the people who are part of the fandom not people who get turned on by anthros. Fuck if I'd fap to anthropomorphic animals, I'd stay away from these people just so I wouldn't be associated with them.
Why is it any different? It's still hating people "because I don't like them."
because there's a difference between institutionalized discrimination that's just about a social norm and someone holding a strong and unsavory opinion towards a collective subculture
because there's a difference between institutionalized discrimination that's just about a social norm and someone holding a strong and unsavory opinion towards a collective subculture
I'm talking about internet hate that a lot of Facepunch users are guilty of. It all boils down to "I don't like them because." A lot of people say "I'm/Others are allowed to hate X because it's not the same as hating Y."
I'm talking about internet hate that a lot of Facepunch users are guilty of. It all boils down to "I don't like them because." A lot of people say "I'm/Others are allowed to hate X because it's not the same as hating Y."
if you're talking about a specific community then please be more explicit
because there's a difference between institutionalized discrimination that's just about a social norm and someone holding a strong and unsavory opinion towards a collective subculture
theres also a difference between institutionalized discrimination and individual homophobia [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] 1 is a thought process of society and another is a thought process of an individual
um dude every deviant sexuality has been subject to persecution. it's just not as popular as being gay [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] and yea furdom is comparable because they are both deviant from the societal norm and get a lot of unjust hatred aimed at them.
Furries get picked on for the same reason bronies get picked on, a lot of them are fucking annoying. That being said, "furdom" isn't even a sexual thing the majority of the time.
I really don't see why this is such a big deal. Kitty admits that he was a douchebag homophobe back then, but he isn't that way now, and apologized to the guy. A lot can change in a couple years, especially around Kittys age.
This is very odd, we're still in an argument yet there's no way to contribute towards either side anymore. [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] on-topic: Kitty is an asshat
hey wait a minute Really though, he WAS an asshole, but not anymore (so it seems). He just makes really unfunny videos.
Furries get picked on for the same reason bronies get picked on, a lot of them are fucking annoying. That being said, "furdom" isn't even a sexual thing the majority of the time.
Only some are actually annoying, most are within their own websites and such. That goes for all groups of any kind. There are always the ones who are stupidly annoying while the rest (read: most) are not.
theres also a difference between institutionalized discrimination and individual homophobia [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] 1 is a thought process of society and another is a thought process of an individual
everyone is inherently discriminatory in some fashion dude, and yes, it is sound to not carry it out, and it is important to listen to people when they call you out on it
Only some are actually annoying, most are within their own websites and such. That goes for all groups of any kind.
True, but during their height it seemed like they all had to have a furry avatar and remind everyone in every post about how much they enjoyed anthropomorphic animals.
what a tragedy oh wait whats the ignore list
hey wait a minute Really though, he WAS an asshole, but not anymore (so it seems). He just makes really unfunny videos.
No he still is, just not for the same reasons.
True, but during their height it seemed like they all had to have a furry avatar and remind everyone in every post about how much they enjoyed anthropomorphic animals.
That's such a petty and invalid thing to get annoyed by.
what a tragedy oh wait whats the ignore list
And why would I put someone on my ignore list? Oh yeah, because I find them annoying. I never said I picked on these people, but that I could see why someone would.
That's such a petty and invalid thing to get annoyed by.
I'll be the one to decide that.
And why would I put someone on my ignore list? Oh yeah, because I find them annoying. I never said I picked on these people, but that I could see why someone would.
u could stop making stupid observational posts that contribute nothing to the thread tho
a lot of fantastic posts in this thread to quote a similarly fantastic poster
theres nothing weird about you, you run around shouting and begging the world to think youre weird but youre just a faggot

u could stop making stupid observational posts that contribute nothing to the thread tho
no u first
Furries get picked on for the same reason bronies get picked on, a lot of them are fucking annoying. That being said, "furdom" isn't even a sexual thing the majority of the time.
im commenting specifically on the sexual fringe of furdom. i mean you can comment on how you dont like furry art all day, but to look down on someone for their sexual desires that in no way harm other people is incredibly ignorant.
everyone is inherently discriminatory in some fashion dude, and yes, it is sound to not carry it out, and it is important to listen to people when they call you out on it
well yea but the thing is that i am calling people out on it...
I dislike him and his videos because of his: -Overuse of memes -Overuse of furry characters -Blatant homophobia -Random humour -Stupid "jokes" He is also very full of himself. His firstperson videos were the only ones I could find the least bit bearable, alot of his videos have decent animations though IMO.
i like kitty because i like his videos
No he still is, just not for the same reasons.
I was kinda iffy on that, hence why I wrote "(so it seems)" on my previous comment.
Here we go Facepunch Furry Timewarp simulator.
