Can I donate COH Gold to this
I'm kinda saddened by this lottery, because I only have one ticket because I don't want to spam the thread with referral links.
Yet by doing this, I'm basically guaranteed not to win.
:C
.
hes on 270 tickets now
.
Hey everyone, for this weekend only, in celebration for hitting 1,000 members on our Steam Group we're holding a bonus lottery. Every referral ticket you earn during the weekend has the potential to drop an additional ticket granting you Poker Night 2.

why dont i have any friends :c
Great, now they are starting to spam links to this site everywhere.
my friend has 300 tickets now
I only have 17 tickets, could have 18 if the facebook one wasn't being a bitch and saying it could not find my info :(
EDIT: Apparently it works now, yay 19 tickets (got one more referral :v:)
Poker Night 2 ticket has been dropped! The person who received the Poker Night 2 ticket was MisterKyon! He was promptly gifted the game and we hope he enjoys it in a week or so when it is officially released.

He has to be using a proxy. There is no way he just went around asking 300+ people to click a link for him.

he posted on workshops supposedly
This is a good idea! I even made a Reddit account just for this contest, lol. But I refuse to link my Facebook to anything Steam related.

I just broke 70 tickets.
20 seconds!
Winner: CheatMasterLew
CheatMasterLew is from United Kingdom and won this jackpot with 138 tickets.
That would of been funny if i won with my 4 tickets.
You would say that, being from 2007 and all
I don't think that's such a bad idea
:v:
Wow, 138 tickets? This was basically a popularity contest... congrats anyway
Awesome, Dead Island: Riptide is the next giveaway! (I stuck my referral in there)
So what prevents the popular guys from getting 100+ tickets all over again?
If you do this 1000 times it's statistically likely they will have 10 times more games than most people. Real lotteries usually prevent this because their tickets actually cost money (and the odds are ridiculously small anyway).
It's a nice initiative, but for a lot of people it feels as if they have no chance of winning at all.
Yesterday I launched a website called Steam Lottery that I have worked on with a friend of mine. The website is simple, it only has one page of content. Just by signing in, you will receive an admission ticket which means you have one chance to win BioShock Infinite. Afterward, you can increase your chances by earning more tickets. Each ticket has a different objective, you'll have to read about them on the website itself.
The Poker Night 2 ticket has been dropped! The person who received the Poker Night 2 ticket was MisterKyon! Lets all congratulate him!

The entire process is free, we never ask a cent from you or tell you to complete some stupid survey.
Honestly, this website is extremely experimental. This lottery ends on April 21st and I don't know if I will be able to afford to run another.
By the way, I don't intend to fool anyone here with the website's name. Much like steamgifts.com or steamtrades.com, steamlottery.com is not associated with the Valve Corporation nor does it pretend to be so.
I'm very interested in hearing any ticket ideas anyone might have.
