Suburbs was a slight let down imo. I guess their other works are just miles ahead. Still great though.

But when you take out the disappointing songs there's still enough tracks for a full album so its all good.
Fair dues, empty room didn't quite gel with the others for me, and I must say I did see them live on Wednesday so I'm probably a tad biased But I'm a huge fan of the album overall, got some great tracks (Month of May carries off as a lot more 'punk' live)

Deep Blue was the one that I haven't really gotten into out of the whole album. [editline]5th December 2010[/editline] Neon Bible was their weakest album imo. Had some great tracks but so many meh-ish ones. I'll try it again sometime to see what incredible magic I've missed about it. I really like Funeral but I prefer The Suburbs. I don't know what it is. [editline]5th December 2010[/editline] Maybe I've just listened to Funeral too much. Or the fact that it doesn't all fit together as well as The Suburbs.
The Final Frontier - Iron Maiden Coat of Arms - Sabaton I really can't think of anything else.
Oh yeah Coat of Arms was really good
you're in the snipers sight the first kill toniiight
best song from the album chorus is brilliant

Arcade Fire have pulled off A miracle by not making their 3rd album A flop a la Radiohead.

Did that come out this year? Thought it was last year :v: I think Shatter's their best song anyway. FUCKING DARK

I think that Neon Bible is Arcade Fire's best album. To me it is one of those albums that I can just listen to over and over.
Yeah it's the only album of theirs that, in my opinion, had skippable tracks. But when you take out the disappointing songs there's still enough tracks for a full album so its all good.
Its still a great album as a whole though. Fuck skipping tracks.
the suburbs is my favourite arcade fire album, but i'm also a big early bruce springsteen fan so uno
the suburbs is my favourite arcade fire album, but i'm also a big early bruce springsteen fan so uno
Is Springsteen's new album any good?
Definitely! It's a solid, and interesting listen. I'm surprised you haven't already given it a go. I still find it crazy that more or less a Bruce Springsteen is his heyday album came out in 2010.
Fuck skipping tracks.
Why should someone have to sit through a boring 5 minute track knowing there are much better songs on an album?
Why should someone have to sit through a boring 5 minute track knowing there are much better songs on an album?
Well there is listening to an album, then there is listening to songs you want to listen to. Its not faithful to say "i'm listening to the album, but skipping boring tracks"
I have to disagree actually. I think that Neon Bible is Arcade Fire's best album. I have to admit Funeral is my least favorite album of theirs.
Well there is listening to an album, then there is listening to songs you want to listen to. Its not faithful to say "i'm listening to the album, but skipping boring tracks"
Alright I see where you're coming from. When I play an album that I own a physical copy of I never skip tracks, but if I'm going through my music library I will.
If we're talking albums you can listen through start to finish, the only one I can say I genuinely do that for from 2010 is Eluveitie's Everything Remains (as it never was). Amazing melodeath / folk metal album.

2010s been a slow year for new albums, for me.

Sorry, I assumed it was just your favourite album this year, not favourite album that came out this year.
