Yeah, and in general counselors/therapists etc are really good at talking you through your problems - as in, they get you to unpack things and think them through and understand them better. That's probably the best part. The second best part is the coping strategies they can give you.
I still see my therapist every now and then. its like a mental health checkup, since i see my gp for general health checkups
How much are counselors? I'm not in school anymore so anything is out of pocket and asking my parents to pay for it is just a huge fucking can of worms that I don't want to open

So I've been trying to shave my body hair for the first time and god it takes so LONG :scream: I've been going at it half an hour to an hour at a time so I'm not taking up the bathroom for too long, but it's been the better part of a week already and I've still got my arms and the back of my legs/buttcheeks left to do.

uh
armpit hair helps wick away the moisture caused by sweat. without armpit hair, it's just going to make the smell worse. use antiperspirant and/or sterilize that area with rubbing alcohol to really destroy the scent.
Its bacteria that make the smell worse, and those bacteria feed on the moisture/other stuff there and benefit from the warmth of close skin proximity. Removing hair removes some of the bacteria habitat, but it really tends to extend the period of time the bacteria have to do their thang
I sweat [I]really[/I] easily (along with being super hairy its my best trait...), but found that antiperspirant and sanitizing my armpits helped the most.

use depilatory cream ffs, leave the razor for spots you can't use the cream on. depilatory cream is good for getting the majorly hairy areas thinned out enough that razor maintenance is far easier.

I've got some thick body hair and it's only gonna get hairier as I get older. Last year I didn't have much chest hair but now that's starting to grow and I've noticed that my arms are also a lot hairier than they used to be.
In an age where a lot of people are after smooth twinks, my genes are working against me.
What's the consensus on waxing? Specifically personal waxing kits(other than it hurting like hell)? I've been thinking of getting myself a kit so I can feel pretty for once, but I've heard and read mixed results.
