I haven't posted here much, but I know a lot of you are already going through trouble. I know with the possibility of a Trump/Pence ticket in the white house it seems like a great darkness is looming over your lives. But, even if you don't see it, I see a new dawn 4 years from now after they get voted out of office. You owe it to you and yours to stay strong. Hi, this is the first time im posting to this thread, although I read it occasionally. And I say this from the bottom of my heart, coming from a straight white guy. I am sorry for the results of the election today. I really wish all of you the best of luck in the oncoming years. I really hope that there is no serious regressions in LGBT rights. I really wish you all hope.

Sometimes, it can be adversity that really brings people together, and I hope that you guys manage to pull through alright. We have a red house senate and president with an atrociously homophobic VP that supports diverting HIV prevention money to gay conversion camps, supports don't ask don't tell. If you expect anything other than four years of serious regression on LGBT issues you're delusional and pretending like it's not a big deal doesn't make it go away.
