Maybe, maybe not. I'll see how tonight goes. This is on me, too. We're still strangers effectively: he doesn't owe me anything really when it comes to promptness. I have actual anxiety issues around this stuff too, and seeing as how for some reason my physician won't give me loads of benzos I can't just make it go away everytime.
I need to learn to be better about not worrying about the motives of others, and that's independent of what happens with this bloke.

like the fix for being weirdly kinda afraid of dogs is being more exposed to dogs that are friendly dogs, the best fix for this is to try dating of some kind. you just have to find what's right for you, and you may figure it out in time without dating but dating would probably accelerate it
update on date: regardless of past doubts, it went well. He also worked most of today up until an hour before our date, desperately tried to get changed and get his dog walked, and then was willing to take a bus and walk a considerable distance (car is in shop) to get to me.

Yeah me too, only other one I watched had a really unappealing art style and the majority seem to look the same while also playing out the same story wise.

Personally I couldn't be happier about getting my hair cut two days ago. It's been so long I started to look questionable. A trim of the beard feels good too.
I work half-time at a local second-hand store and during my time there people have been getting super friendly and complimented me for being very useful and cool. And most of the people who work there are late 40 to 50's ladies.
I feel it isn't often men get complimented in that regard. It really makes you feel better and more compelled to work :cat:

I have hair down to my shoulder blades right now, to be quite frank I like having rather long hair, allows me to feel more feminine since I don't have to be secretive for fear of judgment I suppose.
I never understood the logic behind of long hair being femine somehow, maybe it is just too common for men to have long hair here so it never got to me.
Apart from the fact I have to shampoo it pretty regularly to keep it from going nasty and greasy, I love my beyond shoulder length hair, it completes my Viking Metal band drummer look
I try to grow mine out but it's hard with hair that is unruly.
