But like, as an example. My parents met at some party and have been married for like 40 frigging years. Most regular people just meet and fall in love by accident, at random, in public.
As a minority, we can mostly only connect with eachother over the internet. And I know tons of us have been burned by LDRs.

When I said be gay, I meant not be like most of the dudebro-esque people around here. We're one of the only places in Southern California to be made up mostly of Republicans, which isn't too bad, but all they ever talk about is sports and shit. It's why I hang out with a lot of women, but I want to hang out with dudes too, just not hit on them.

I have the same worry. I currently have no friends. One person who says I'm their bff but I don't know them and one girl who I thought was my bff but I guess she just hates my guts and I have sneaking suspicions that all she does is talk badly of me behind my back when she claims to not.
