Beer and spirits mostly, I will try anything but my mainstay is a nice beer. Unlike mallow who gags at the sight of it.
Hey, come on, I don't >:c I have specific tastes
Family went out to do some stuff and asked me to help them make some prerequisites for Thanksgiving dinner, that's a lot of responsibility considering I've never made anything but frozen foods in the oven, but I have to say it turned out pretty well. [sp]They had me toasting bread in the oven. :-)[/sp]
i'm doing the whole meal this time
tfw too poor to afford any good food on thanksgiving cuz it's the end of the month :v:
i'm not exactly poor (sometimes), but the money i earn is almost entirely thrown away at food. Bad nasty gas station food. Plus I have to work thanksgiving night. luckily its after the family gathering though.
Hope all the Amerifriends in here have a very happy Thanksgiving free of political discourse and full of stuffing
They asked me at work yesterday what Thanksgiving is all about and I jokingly said it's about families coming together to celebrate the killing of Native Americans and fighting over who gets to take home the tupperware filled with turkey. They laughed, but I think they might have taken it a bit too serious. :v:
I have no plans for Thanksgiving because I have no friends around here. To me it seems like holidays are something you should spend with friends and/or family. It really doesn't sit well with me that I'm spending it alone :(
I can't wait for that deep fried turkey:lick:
I'm working 4:30 to 11pm on Thanksgiving The joys of retail! At least BB does holiday pay, unlike a certain Stop for Games...
Oh my god... TURKEY, with PILLOWY MOUNDS
craving mashed potatoes, gonna buy some smash n just have a gravy-y, buttery lump of that shit
Do Americans not eat mashed potatoes outside of Thanksgiving?
this is my first year working a job that actually closes for the whole holiday weekend
Do Americans not eat mashed potatoes outside of Thanksgiving?
Nah it's just more popular today. I make them all the time.
Had anybody else tried their hand at making homemade alcohol? I did a couple of batches before giving up, no matter what I did it would always turn out kinda yeasty Also that last batch of apple wine just made you... lose time, everybody who's drunk it has said they couldn't really remember the next half hour
Do Americans not eat mashed potatoes outside of Thanksgiving?
I love making mashed potatoes with gravy all the time. Maybe twice a month or something
I'm working 4:30 to 11pm on Thanksgiving The joys of retail! At least BB does holiday pay, unlike a certain Stop for Games...
I have to work from 2 to 11 :(
Do Americans not eat mashed potatoes outside of Thanksgiving?
its forbidden, punishable by the death penalty

I'm soon to be 19 and I've never once been drunk or high, nor have I been to any parties I guess I'm just your standard run-of-the-mill basic bitch shut-in
I'm soon to be 19 and I've never once been drunk or high, nor have I been to any parties I guess I'm just your standard run-of-the-mill basic bitch shut-in
tbh seems pointless to do any of those things.
On the one hand, if you really feel like you're missing out then go try it and maybe you'll have a good time On the other, you're really not missing much and if you're like me then getting fucked up is only fun if you're doing it with good friends [editline]25th November 2016[/editline] Nothing worse than going to a party where you don't know anyone but the host and her boyfriend [editline]25th November 2016[/editline] Except maybe cancer [editline]25th November 2016[/editline] Or the holocaust Ok maybe there are worse things
if you chose not to go out and experience all that life can offer you and everything you can do in the world you have no one to blame but yourself
if you chose not to go out and experience all that life can offer you and everything you can do in the world you have no one to blame but yourself
thanks
if you chose not to go out and experience all that life can offer you and everything you can do in the world you have no one to blame but yourself
yea be like me and party all the time if your idea of partying is having fun, respecting the rules, and playing fair then i am a huge party animal the biggest party boy you will ever meet ! !
if you chose not to go out and experience all that life can offer you and everything you can do in the world you have no one to blame but yourself
I used to think this wasn't the case but when people kept asking to do stuff with me I decided to say yes instead of no all the time
I'm pretty chuffed I have a job now although it's a lot to take in after being unemployed since the same time last year. Part-time too so I still can carry on with other things. [editline]26th November 2016[/editline] Also I have a pretty small group of IRL friends so parties are usually family only or if I am going on the razz with the lads but that's pretty rare to be honest, not big on spending money because I am ultimate skint.
