They're there, but there's tons of other things to do besides that. I don't understand why some people think that it's a prerequisite to do any of that in order to have a "fulfilled" life.

I got in a pretty bad fender-bender today. I was getting off the highway and was on the exit ramp when my dog started whining and thrashing about a bit in the back for no reason. I turned around to look at him for a second and then THUNK.
I got out, gave them my info, [I]completely fucking forgot to get their info[/I], got lucky to get one of their phone numbers, and went on my way to go try not to puke in a mcdonalds bathroom. Then I had to call my insurance and file a claim, but thank god I have USAA auto insurance because it was stupidly easy and the agent was a super nice dude.
Still stressed as fuck though. Definitely out at least a grand. Totally on me too, I should've been paying more attention to the road. The worst part is how angry my parents are. I called them right away to tell them what happened, said I'd pay whatever costs came up and switch to my own insurance plan if they prefered, but my dad is still acting incredibly angry and brusque about all of this. I wish I could call them and not be so afraid, but I'm always terrified of what he/they are going to do next. I've accepted responsibility, learned from what I did wrong, and am trying to fix the situation as best as I can - what more do they want from me? ([sp]Spoiler: to be a perfect aryan straight young christian man who never drinks never crashes gets perfect grades and gets a good job as a doctor lol[/sp])
Also, to make all of this better, my license expired yesterday since I turned 21 and I didn't make it back to Seattle in time to update my license at the DMV. So, yay. Probably going to get extra fines for that :/
