Posting this kind of picture at POY is asking for trouble. If you post just a regular photo they already flip their shit on you and tell you what you should look like
Ok that's actually brilliant
ratings are medals, wear em proud
I often get called gay (not as an insult) but I guess my personality is just feminine :/
nothing wrong with that tbh

I took those for him like a hour ago.
um... nice underwear :wavey:
I've been working on a game that takes place at this old hospital on Long Island that was demolished in the late 80's. I went to go visit the site just to see what was around and found out the land was turned into a nature preserve and is littered with bike trails through the pine barrens. Now it's become my favorite place to ride. Nobody's there and it's just a calm beautiful place.

And yes my ass was completely destroyed after riding over those rail ties for a half mile.
There's always cool stuff out there if you know where to look.

Reminds me when one time someone posted a pic of themselves and they happened to have long hair, and someone basically said "long hair just makes you look like an ugly girl"
If you're gonna critique how someone looks, do it in a way that doesn't make you sound like a fucking douche-nozzle. And yeah, being confident in your own skin is seen as a cardinal sin in that place if you don't abide by their rules of what looks good and doesn't look good. Breaking one of those rules means you're a perma-virgin unless you follow their instructions of looking as uniform as you possibly can. It's no wonder people were afraid to post in that thread for a while :v:
Eugh so Facebook is pissing me off. Gays fighting over whether or not the Orlando shooting was about homophobia or just a general terrorist attack. Its funny to see that obviously the more "attention seeking" gays are going on about how they are being hunted and gays are not accepted still and that everybody wants them dead. And then there are the normal gays who are like "calm the fuck down,it was a random ISIS attack and they chose this place to prove that nowhere is safe"

yeah nevermind how he scouted the place out for weeks, clearly it was just random and anyone upset that a religious extremist acted out of bigotry is just an "attention seeking abnormal gay"
you're so much better than they are yeah just keep patting yourself on the back for being so normal
Not the time or the place for this, tbh

It was done by a terrorist group though.
And yeah, maybe they did scout the place for weeks, but they still probably randomly chose that club. I'm on about gays saying "They are coming for us, i've never been so scared of my own sexuality, we will never be accepted, we will always be hated by everyone" completely over-dramatising their involvement in the community as if they were in the same club. They aren't even in the same country and they go on and on about how they are "lucky to be alive because of all the hate".
It's basically going on the same lines as the tumblr feminists who think every man is out to try and hurt/rape/kill them. Sorry if you're one of the people i'm explaining but i can't stand it when people feel the need to make it about them when it really isn't. And its just typical that there are certain gays out there who love to make it about them.
But yeah, can't be arsed with this debate, didn't think this would lead on to anything big (stupid me).
I'll stop here

that's a very different debate than simply whether or not the attack was motivated by homophobia, which is how you directly phrased it in your previous post, and whose answer is braindead obvious
the entire point of your previous post was to congratulate yourself on utterly denying homophobic intentions
it baffles me how this massacre has managed to make such a hot debate out of whether or not the lgbt community is a target of violence or not; this reminds me of a short while back when someone else here was going out of their way to pretend that homophobic discrimination isn't a thing in the US simply because of their own particular area of living is more progressive
And yeah, maybe they did scout the place for weeks, but they still probably randomly chose that club.
Isn't it at least as likely that the person who has identified with a group that specifically targets and kills homosexuals was more inclined to shoot up a club full of homosexuals?
I'm not going to choose sides, but people are dead and we need to be solid and together, not fighting about what, why, or how. All violence is senseless.

that sounds nice on paper but only serves to ignore problems and hope they go away
we're not the friends and family of those affected (or at least I hope not); it is not our time to grieve and it is not our time to be apathetic

You're right.
This is probably what they want, a mass cluster-fuck of debates and tension, they probably want us to be scared to leave the house and they want us to be scared for our lives. Thats how they get more power. Through fear. We need to continue with our weekend plans, still go shopping, still drive to work everyday, they'll soon realise their attacks don't stop us.

No, we're not, but we're all human and we should be looking after our own instead of turning on eachother. I really doubt anyone here doesn't a shit about what happened. Call me a hug boxing faggot if you'd like, but we need to stick together. Not just as LGBT, but as human beings.

none of that requires pretending the world is a happy place with no risks or problems to solve
Doesn't require you to debate every one who mentions it either, some people don't wanna deal with that
Doesn't require you to debate every one who mentions it either, some people don't wanna deal with that
wouldn't have brought it up if greeley didn't start it by acting like he had a superior viewpoint
wouldn't have brought it up if greeley didn't start it by acting like he had a superior viewpoint
Woah, calm down there catty.
I didn't act like i had a superior viewpoint, and if i came across like that then i apologise.
It was a basic opinion of the recent issues. I didn't think my opinion was far greater than yours. That's not what an opinion is for.
the fact that people even care about why/who did it is insanely stupid lmao
how about care more about the people who died and actually spend energy on talking about how this shouldn't have happened either way
either way gays aren't as accepted as they should be and that's just how it is, but even if this shooting was homophobia or some nazi-isis-commie attack or not doesn't matter, in the end it just brings more peoples attention to the gay debate and more people will be supportive of gays as a result. History is going to remember that a minority group was attacked, not why or how, or who did it
V also he's gay V
I honestly apologise for making this a big thing. I honestly didn't see it getting to this point. As most of my comments on this thread just gets a rating or two but then forgotten about, i thought i'd just dump my open-thoughts. I am sorry that this happened in this thread guys.
