I have actually wondered this after my studies of ancient history. Homosexuality was REALLY common before abrahamic religion got popular. But since there were still gays after sodomy was outlawed, I have to make the conclusion that homosexuality is not a result of culture. I suggest that a large number of people who claim to be straight are actually bisexual, they just repress the less-accepted homosexual side of it where before in many ancient cultures where sodomy was accepted, they embraced it.
