The love stories some of you post are really adorable. Warms my already kind of heated heart.
I guess I should balance it out with more depressing stories then
yesterday i went through the tsa precheck line for the first time. it's great. instead of waiting in a long line, taking off my shoes and belt, taking out my laptop from my backpack, going through a body scanner, and getting groped by tsa agents i just waited at the much smaller precheck line, placed my backpack in the xray laptop and all, and went through a regular metal detector. took me about a few minutes
i highly recommend it. i dunno how much it costs and how long it takes cos i got in the program for free but i still recommend it
I have actually wondered this after my studies of ancient history. Homosexuality was REALLY common before abrahamic religion got popular. But since there were still gays after sodomy was outlawed, I have to make the conclusion that homosexuality is not a result of culture. I suggest that a large number of people who claim to be straight are actually bisexual, they just repress the less-accepted homosexual side of it where before in many ancient cultures where sodomy was accepted, they embraced it.
Could also be that lots of people liked rubbing genitals despite a lack of attraction

Am in line at a theme park right now
That's special treatment over there? Here Xray + Metal detector is literally standard procedure :v:
If you get "randomly selected" they'll wipe a stick over you and your bag to test for explosive residue which takes a few seconds
we're a little more paranoid here in the good ol us of a
I always get pulled aside at airports by the TSA for more extensive scanning
maybe they think I'm a North Korean spy or something
Some lady wearing a burqua went through the TSA checkout behind me. I turn around and the officials start manually searching their bags and questioning them.
I never saw them again after that.

I've literally never left the UK.
Hah, take that.
I've only ever left the UK once
just never came back
I've never even left my state before.
I mean, I did when I was like 4, but I barely even remember that. Feels like I'm stuck here.
I've been in many countries.
I walked into Canada once, it was ok.
I cross the border to Sweden every once in a while since I live right next to it.
Cheap gas and candy, hooray.
Went to South Korea when I was a wee lad but waaaay too young to remember anything. Other than that I've been to Texas (also too young to remember much), and California a few times. Last year on vacation with family, this year when I went to E3.
I'm happy I've gone to Europe so many times (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, UK), gave me a greater appreciation for the world outside the US.
Also I haz a snek
My snek is in a box

It's been a pretty shit bday so far. Work called and got on me cuz I told them that I didn't feel like doing a double today but I could work for 7 hours in the morning. They said "well don't even bother coming in then" and hung up on me, then sent me a text asking if I even wanted my job in the first place, which is a good question because it seems like I've been nothing but miserable since I've gotten it.
First time I left the uk by myself was to get some nasty ass succ

Spiders, and especially tarantulas, are a good way to repel the Mysterious
I ended up in the gay district neat Capitol Hill and it was a pretty cool place. Shame you need to be 21 to enter almost anywhere. Even the pizza place I found was also carding :/
Not a place I'm used to seeing since I come from the South. Cross walks were all pride flags and stuff.
The phrase "gay district" sounds pretty sinister, like forced relocation
True. I don't know how else to describe it tbh
I was at the Castro during SF Pride and it was fuckin nuts man
A few days ago I decided to finally get into the dating game since I ain't getting any younger.
