This should be a place where we are able to come to discuss these drugs, to become more informed drug users. By telling us that we are not allowed to discuss those drugs just because you disagree with the use of those drugs, how are you any different than the anti-drug organizations that we, as responsible drug users, so adamantly oppose?[/QUOTE]

While I appreciate the change of heart, I feel that you don't quite understand what that whole conflict was about. It's not that we just want to make tons of threads about pointlessly harmful drugs. I just cannot support the blind suppression of intelligent discussion. Why? Because that breeds ignorance, which, in turn breeds dangerous drug misconceptions and/or habits.

That is a very illogical argument. That's like saying that kids shouldn't play violent videogames because it will put the idea of violence in their heads. Violent kids are going to be attracted to violent videogames, just like irresponsible drug users are going to be attracted to dangerous drugs. I have no interest in ever using meth, PCP, cocaine, or any opiates. However, I would very much like to be able to discuss such drugs. Why? Because I do not know much about them, and I would like to know what it is about these drugs that attracts so many people.

I don't think Silver is really even qualified at all for the drug discussion forum moderator. He knows little to nothing about any other drugs and has had nearly no experience with anything else but marijuana. He's admitted to this before.

the third one died of a heroine overdose
the other uncle of my dad's side died of aids he got from a needle
to say that I have not heard enough about drugs and how to do them and how to incorrectly dose them would be pretty much bullcockery
