Why is it feeling so satisfying to see (well, mostly hear) Spain getting crushed?

I swear right from the start i instantly thought we would just lose it, the 1-0 for Spain was a nice reminder to that. Went upstairs and suddenly heard a earthquake of joy from the neighbours and i saw it was 1-1 and after that the goals kept streaming in.
