Chile put up a hell of a fight when Australia had the ball, and Australia really didn't seem coordinated a lot of the time, sending the ball straight to a Chilean player with no opposition.

Australia really pushed Chile before that third goal. You could see the relief in Chile's coaches face on the replays. If only we didn't let in those soft goals early on.

The upsides are, we came into the tournament as underdogs, pushed probably the best team Chile has ever fielded and can have confidence going in the next game.

And for fucks sake Postecoglou, stop playing Halloran, he threw the ball away nearly every time he got it.

Chile put so much pressure on Australia throughout the game, and I saw it especially during the second half, Australia can definitely be commended for working so hard to push through.

It wasn't as bad as in the spain-nl game
the ball was literally being passed for minutes on end in spain's penalty area...spain's midfielders weren't even getting back to defend
they were hopeless
