I came into this thread to state that I live in Canada and even though its socially acceptable, I still cringe really hard every time someone calls it soccer.

I also don't acknowledge american "football" as a sport that involves feet as often as it does hands. Fuck them.

I'll admit I watch football whenever I can, FIFA or not, but still I find I too get caught up in the FIFA hype like everyone else.
