That is so mind numbingly stupid said.
Also, check out what's going on in Israel. The Jews aren't exactly being very nice.
I don't think so sir. Why don't you take a step back before trying to be Anti-Semitic.
First of all yes, my comment makes sense. Second, if you are not Jewish then do not try to troll against Jews. Third, maybe you should read a newspaper before you try to incriminate Israel.
Let me enlighten you so that you may stop spreading your ignorance.
First of all Hamas did NOT follow the cease fire agreement, they continued to fire rockets and when Israel retaliated they thought it would be a good idea to use innocent civilians and children as human shields. Hamas would use schools as launching locations.
Second, Israel is on its own over there. Did you know that some countries STILL to this day not even recognize it as a legitimate nation.
Third, maybe you haven't had your head in the news but the business in Iran with the dead nuclear physicist and the destroyed nuclear centrifuge is thought to be the work of Israel.
Whether you like it or not you are an ignorant person. You start to talk shit about modern day Israel when we are discussing a movie which takes place during World War II. Your comment was uncalled for and I am kindly asking you to withdraw it. Next time, why don't you think before you try and be Anti-Semitic. Thanks.
P.S. Israel has tried to be nice. Even when it first became a country Egypt had gone on the offensive. Israel had won, confiscated some land and asked ONLY to be recognized as a nation to return the land. When Egypt's leader accepted he was KILLED. Can you not see the hatred? It would be like New Jersey and Rhode Island sitting next to the United States which hates them only because their monotheistic religion came first and is therefore a little different.
ALSO, I doubt you knew that there are about 1.16 million Muslims in Israel. So before you try and question the "niceness" of Jews maybe you should take a Human Geography class or just not try to make ignorant comments.
I'm not even going to begin this discussion, and not here, but I will say, saying some people who happens to be Jewish are acting like dicks is not anti-semitic.
Amazing

I'm not acting like a dick and you directed negative jabs towards the Jews in Israel which had no basis of fact. Therefore sir, you can either call your jabs ignorant OR Anti-Semitic.
So, what would you call them?
I'm still to see it. Looks good.
I'm not acting like a dick and you directed negative jabs towards the Jews in Israel which had no basis of fact. Therefore sir, you can either call your jabs ignorant OR Anti-Semitic.

Bastards.
To most the movie did not present itself this way. For intellectuals sure, they realize that what was going on wasn't meant to offend Jews.
However to most, the film portrayed Jews as bloodthirsty savages with no reason to kill these nazis. The movie took the Holocaust out of the equation which ultimately led to a lack of depth as far as motive went.
No Jewish person in the movie wasn't bloodthirsty, sure the girl was justified but the others? Guess the director took a Mel Gibson film studies class...
How could someone who isn't anti-Semitic portray Jews as mimicking atrocities that the nazis committed? The movie is just "too silly to be enjoyed, even as a joke." Honestly, you have to be extremely ignorant to enjoy the plot OR the hidden metaphors.
Protip: It wasn't mean to be a serious movie.
And if you're gonna let some silly portrayal of the Jews ruin this amazing movie for you then you are taking your shit way too seriously.
I'm Jewish. My dad is Jewish. We both enjoyed and laughed at the movie.
Again, this isn't the kind of movie that you take seriously and try to analyze every little detail. This is the kind of movie where you sit down, turn your brain off and have a good time.
And what the fuck how do people have trouble following the plot this was the simplest shit ever.

You can still enjoy it intelligently too. The dialogue and the acting are brilliant.
There is nothing intelligent about the movie though.
There is nothing intelligent about the movie though.
Well of course you aren't going to get Paths of Glory from it. What I'm trying to say is that if you're intelligent you can find a lot of the movie to admire and enjoy other than "Huwk, Jews hurt Nazis with a bat." It's not like you have to turn your brain off for two hours like with a Michael Bay movie. The preformances, the way the plots come together, the direction, and what Tarintino's the best at, the dialogue, are all great.
Yes.
I loved it, I should really watch it again, I have only seen it a couple times.
I liked it
There is nothing intelligent about the movie though.
It was very intelligently made.
Intelligence in a film is not big words and thought out masterplans. It is a profound message or a great idea. After all, all cinema(art) is is a means of communicating an idea and intelligence in a movie is how well you communicate that idea. Trust me, this movie is no way, shape, or form dumb.

You're a bit like the people who complained about zombies being black in Resident Evil 5.
This is a cool-ass movie, though not Tarantino's best.
[sp]I liked when they killed Hitler right off. Was quite surprised.[/sp]
Tarantino is a brilliant director, I'm watching Kill Bill at the moment and I love it :3:
I liked it but I felt that it was missing scenes in places.
The only part I didn't like about this movie was some of the music, which felt out of place and was occasionally louder than the actors themselves.

If you think this you have no idea how to watch a Tarantino film.

Okay people seem to be confusing what I mean when I say intelligent.
His movies are brilliantly made. The story fits, the acting, the scenes, the script, the camera work, everything is as good as it gets.
This is not the kind of movie that you try to learn something from, though. It's message is in no way intelligent.

First movie I ever watched by him was Kill Bill Volume 1. I was 13; and I was the only person I knew except my brother that liked it.

message isn't the only thing you should just as whether intelligent or not
there are many many ways a movie can be classified as intelligent, it's not just the message
it has very intelligent storytelling, writing, cinematography, etc etc

But it does have a message that's intelligent. Half of the film is pretty much Tarantino making fun of a double standard.

yes but to me a movie is intelligent if it's message or story is intelligent otherwise it's just a really good movie.

Err you're making a pretty broad assumption there
Err you're making a pretty broad assumption there
how is that a broad assumption I thought it was blatantly obvious
And where exactly is the double standard then?
