Would a girl really enjoy Dragon Age 2? or Anyone really?
My ex-gf fucking LOVES all that Dragon Age mediocre shit. She's fucking insane. Put the two together, OP.
So I kinda like this girl. We talk almost everyday, but we usually only message each other like once a day or every couple of days. Yes, we talk on the BioWare Social Network. I actually have no idea what she looks like
Sorry but now I now automatically take the story as:
So I kinda like this guy. We talk almost everyday, but we usually only message each other like once a day or every couple of days. Yes, we talk on the BioWare Social Network. I actually have no idea what he looks like, but for some reason, I don't really seem to care. We've been talking for a few weeks now and, despite not know what he looks like, I fear I may have a crush on him. This is so weird and I don't know what to do, I really like talking to him and I think he likes talking to me too. He doesn't know I like him. I don't know if he feels the same way about me. I think it's way too soon to say anything about this too him, so I'm not going to yet, not until I know for sure that I like him or he gives me a hint that he likes me too or atleast until we've exchanged pics or Facebooks....
The fact (s)he stopped talking to you when a game was released also might point towards that it is just some man. I wouldn't count on it being female. The internet is generally not the perfect place to pick up girls.
I'm 18.
Believe it or not, but 18 is young, bro.
I'm 18.
18 and still getting crushes on random people over the internet whom you have no idea of what they look like or if they're even anything like what they claim to be? I think we could consider this a sign for you to socialize more with people that are actually near you.
Get out NOW while you still can. I've been where you are now and it only goes downhill unless you're part of the extremely few who actually come out happy from a relationship that initiates over the internet. Even if that would end up being the case, there's tons of other girls out there and the amount of time and energy you will end up giving up for this girl if you don't get out now will seriously affect every other aspect of your life. Just continue being friends with her and try to crush on someone in person you actually know to sidetrack yourself from feelings for this girl. Edit: (for the OP only) If you want more details on specifics I'm talking about from experience just drop me a message and I'll take some time out to do an informative, hopefully helpful story time.
Ask her for pictures of her penis.
Thanks guys who are being supportive :)
I'm 18.
well that just makes it kinda worse
You could ask if she has a facebook or something? At least then you'll know if she's not really a 40 year old pedo or a 12 year old or some other embarrassing thing.
Thanks guys who are being supportive :)
You'll thank me later.
Bioware social network hahahahah Anyways... I'll just say "Avoid it" like everyone else did, really, just do that.
It's not strange, but managing a relationship with a person halfway across the world is pretty bad. I think you should realize it's not really a good thing. I support you all the way through though. Just know that. :unsmith:
Ryu-Gi...is...is it you?
Ryu-Gi...is...is it you?
Don't be silly, Ryu-Gi only has the hots for Susan Coffey.
Thats sad. Internet crushes are even sadder than Internet dating.
Getting overly attached to people over the Internet is almost always a bad idea. I only have a few friends I've met online I can say I truly know. I've seen and heard them, and likewise they've seen and heard me. We know where each other live and we know names so we're in a mutual trust thing here. Bear in mind though, I said a few, as in less than 10 or 11. It works out a lot less than it fails miserably. I can't tell you what's right for you, just keep in mind the advice we give you here. It's happened to us all at least once, some fucker lies to us for whatever reason, the friendship goes on and we get screwed for being trusting. You don't want it to happen to you.
maybe she is playing dragon age 2 so she can get away from the world and her problems in real life, but the real story is the fact that she played through a game that takes 40 hours to beat 3 times in a span of a week. does that not worry you?
Your distance will keep it from working, but it's not strange really. An don't give me any of that naive "but I can make it work" bullshit; you can't until you really know her. Unless you have the capability, job and time to actually visit; and plan on investing in a move for either of you, it won't work. You don't really know her until you know what she looks like and have talked with her; if not on webcam, at least voice-wise. Text means nothing.
I met my ex on the internet, dated for about 7 months then she met another guy :smith:
Don't be silly, Ryu-Gi only has the hots for Susan Coffey.
... and that chick from "captivity" or whatever it was called. But seriously op, go meet someone local. Internet love is generally a bad idea.
Internet love is never the right idea.
My brother and his girlfriend would like a word.
wonderfully bad idea for a thread
Relationships in real life are much better anyways, I prefer talking to people in person then on the internet or through a webcam.
My brother and his girlfriend would like a word.
Look, I can call my computer a girlfriend all I want, doesn't make it any more real.
she's been busy playing Dragon Age II
Either a troll, dumb girl, pedophile with no taste in games, pedophile troll, or just crazy. I mean, who plays Dragon Age 2 anyway?
My brother and his girlfriend would like a word.
Op's ladyfriend is "halfway around the world". Whoever your brother and his "girlfriend" are, I'm happy for them, but unless there is some sort of constant contact with a webcam or something and you actually get to know the person, it's a bad idea.
Either a troll, dumb girl, pedophile with no taste in games, pedophile troll, or just crazy. We can't stress actually knowing them enough. Get a facebook, a webcam, voice chat, SOMETHING. Some dude was in an online relationship for two years with this chick he never really knew. He sent her money and everything. Two years go by and the police notify him that she was really a Nigerian scammed and never existed. Needless to say he was devastated and short 250G's in the bank. If your lady requests funds then get suspicious.
If you really want to see what (s)he looks like, take the first step by giving showing her a picture of you. I mean set it up so you can say, "I can't believe one of my mates just put this on Facebook" or something like that, and then hope (s)he'll reply in a similar manner.
BioWare + Female = Syntax Error
