There's nothing stopping you except your own laziness, that goes for everybody saying "I would..." or "I wish..." Man up and go be awesome.
good thing I didn't use any of those words so I can continue on as normal
This is cool. I started doing something similar a few months ago, kind of like home videos. I stopped making them because my life was boring and I realised I sounded like a baby on video.
lol at least you tried
Op you should feel awesome for doing this and sharing it. It really is inspirational. I'm going to go revise in the sun now.

I have a plan to start this on June 1st, once school lets out, and Summer really officially starts. Won't have quite the best camera to do it, but I don't really think that matters. :buddy:
I felt like you did a few months ago, it started when I went to a tribunal to do with my disability benefits (I suffer from chronic fatiuge and have done for years) and they decided I was fit enough to work. I decided I wanted to have a job and a full motorbike licence by September. I then had to go on Jobseekers allowance, and started to volunteer for the British Heart Foundation, but after about a month I got a job in the next town over. Yesterday I passed the theory part for my licence, so I'm one step closer to my goal. I still feel shit, but my life is alot less shit. I think that your video/posts will get at least one person to decide to make their life change for the better.
We have the same last name.
My first 365 project faultered after the hundred mark because I was looking for ~artsy~ images, but documenting the highlight of any day seems to be a much more fulfilling goal. I just need to get out more than once a week to do something fun now :v: awesome work, definitely worth gettin' highlighted.
I've been meaning to relearn my guitar, learn drawing amd get into photography but uni had me down. Not anymore. Thanks OP.
I love it! Optimistic people like you make my day. Even makes me have faith in our forsaken world.
1:01 we have the same duvet! :3: Edit: I bet if i were to do this 2/3 would be pictures of my monitor :/
the most happiest moments in my life are when im either with my family or on my board, and learning guitar is the most fulfilling thing ive done (i just started two months ago) art may give you a headach but when your finished with that drawing.... even tho most days im inside and cant do anything i feel happy because of the things ive done and will do. that music fit perfectly for the video.
Looking up Pectus excavatium... Found. [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/83/Pectus1.jpg/230px-Pectus1.jpg[/img_thumb] OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Its like someone divided by zero... on this guys chest... The fuck?!
Yeah it isnt fun. My heart was pushed under my armpit and if I ran at all my heartrate would go to 250+ and I would almost pass out. Well I'm going to go ahead and get going on my GED, Drivers license, And a job...Just got news I might be living with my rich uncle in Las vegas working for him for a month or 2...That will help alot. Oh and I'll be 21 next month.. Learning guitar as well.
I Dont Like how you assume that everyone here doesnt enjoy their life. however, you do seem to be successful at this changing. I myself started a slow proccess of changing which has socceeded a bit. i cant see the video now but i will as soon as i can
Man I love wanderlust stories like these, its made the wait for my gap year pretty much unbearable. Great video by the way.
I loved it. I think I'll start doing something like this next fall.
Loving it OP! I plan on doing a similar thing after my exams are over, planning on trying my best to sort my life straight, get a job, get to the gym and put on some weight, go someplace nice y'know? Anyway great work, thanks for the inspiration! :buddy:
how did you get enough money to travel etc?
how did you get enough money to travel etc?
Took out a student overdraft at the bank... I've still not recovered from it. Also DrPompo, I'm not assuming anything. I'm just commenting on what other people re saying about themselves. Cheers guys.
awesome thread, you rock dude.
Cheers man, You know... I wish I could make it to Camp FP this year and all of you would be in my video next year :) Alas my ridiculous spending has caught up with me and I'm having to pull out.
That was easily the most inspirational video that I've seen all year.
By the way; you made me realize I take too few pictures.. I need to capture these moments!
Dude that was actually a very cool video. Very good pictures and lots of them OF A WHOLE YEAR! Waaay to go!
Lemme put it like this: You look like a typical blogger that frequents Starbucks a lot on his Mac. (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - daijitsu))
Lemme put it like this, you're a pathetic, stereotyping prick who gets kicks from being a cynical big man on the internet. I've never been to Starbucks purely out of principle, and if I had the kind of money to throw away on a Mac do you really think I'd be living off noodles? I'm not sure where you're getting these hipster accusations from, but if being a creative, open minded, positive young lad makes me a hipster then I can roll with that. 'Least it's a step up from you, eh? ;)
I done it all on a camera that cost £160 3-4 years ago... you could probably find it for £50 these days. I know a couple of folk that are doing it using their phone cameras. The camera shouldn't be a limitation, all it is, is a tool to document.
If you want to be hipster about it : get a analog camera for €3,- <-> €10,- you'll spend around €50,- <-> €70,- for development costs + printing for 365 photos. That way you have printed photos to look back on, and the camera is a good conversation starter. Goddamnit I hate people labeling shit hipster and now i'm doing it myself.

Hm...maybe I'll try this in a few years if my life seems that cool.
