everything through satoshi kon is gold
I listened to the commentary for Paprika once. Satoshi Kon spends the whole time gushing to Susumu Hirasawa about how he loves the guy's music and the soundtrack. It was funny to see how humble he was in the presence of one of his heroes, completely forgetting to talk about the film itself for scenes on end. The following are my favorite movie soundtracks. Since I am unable to post YouTube links, I shall post the film and a selected song. The Lord of the Rings -The Uruk-Hai by Howard Shore Reservoir Dogs -I Gotcha by Joe Tex Pulp Fiction -Misirlou by Dick Dale & The Del-Tones Fight Club -Abort Mission by The Dust Brothers Watchmen -All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly -The Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone
I'm not a Star Trek fan (I enjoyed the new movie a lot though), but Michael Giacchino's score was great.

Also Casino Royale -You Know My Name- Chris Cornell & Dave Arnold
Also Casino Royale -You Know My Name- Chris Cornell & Dave Arnold
It's good. Not the best bond theme though and I'm not "feeling" Cornell's vocals in general.

Related to this thread: The only soundtrack that I regularly listen to though is the Inception soundtrack. When I'm on YouTube I'll listen to others sometimes.
My most played tag on last.fm is soundtrack. Though that's because I have some soundtrack albums full of many very short songs.

Blade runner soundtrack is one of my favourites, Vangelis outdid himself on it
