Jesus man you have balls, the US military needs more people like you, and less people like the guards down in Guantanamo. Seriously.
Wow, they really up armored those Humvee didn't they, i remember seeing one at the start of the war with fabric doors, no windows and no armor at all around the gunner.

The Humvee is a utility vehicle. It was never intended to combat use. That's actually why they are looking to replace them.
Why haven't we given you gold member or something yet
Agreed.
Linelor for gold!
Wow, that must have been a shit day for you. Good news that they saved you leg. I don't know what to say, but your story is pretty interesting. You were very lucky not to die when you were bombed.
Was your concussion really bad?
Let's all patronise the army man.
What do you think about the war then?
hey isnt linelor what zigzagoon evolves into
Those fucking arabs (as in the bad guys in iraq, not every arab people in general) are stupid pussies, thinking they are fighting a holy war or some shit. All they do is plant bombs under roads and think they're the greatest.
How old are you?
It's a matter of perspective.
You are one badass motherfucker.
Yes, you are a VERY badass motherfucker.
hey isnt linelor what zigzagoon evolves into
Watch/compass

i'm posting on my new ps3 :)
The chance of me joining the military just dropped from 10% to 0.1%
Thank you for your service
Once more, why the FUCK haven't you gotten respected member or some shit? You still have my respect Linelor.
Linelor, you definitely have my respect. What you soldiers do, selflessly defending the country, is a great thing.
Also, I'm glad that you were able to recover from your injuries.
Linelor for Gold Member!
Right on man, thanks for your service to our great country, I am definitely looking forwardto enlisting.
Sorry about your eye and your fellow veterans, I can't even begin to imagine how you felt.
Linelor, I respect you and your fallen friends greatly. You go out there and put your ass on the line for something (I wont lie), I would be too scared to do, and I believe a great deal of people would be too scared to do either. Even with the slander that is still occasionally thrown at troops from time to time, you continued to serve.
I am sorry for the loss of your fellow soldiers. Thank you.
My MOS came up today, I'm signing the contract Friday. I'll be a UAV operator for the next four years, and then most likely reenlisting with all those flight hours under my belt as a helicopter pilot. Any suggestions man?

Don't get your hopes up too much is the best thing I can tell you.
At any second they can decide they don't need you where you are and make you do something completely different.
Good read, sorry about your eye.
True because I didn't voluntarily sign some contract that forces me to do it in the end.
Also nice work Swebonny avoiding the real answer.
"To support the army" bwahahaha, yea sure the army is just there to support itself.
Armies kill people.
People who join the army help to kill people, directly or indirectly. The sign contracts. They get money.
They may protect their homeland but if you ask me, a voluntary-helper that builds schools or teaches kids in regions where this is normally not available does more to protect the country than a soldier.
People aren't emotionless machines jackass.
Men remember their first kill, and they remember it well.
First interesting thread in General Discussion for quite some time. Really nice reading!
You sir, are a hero. Thank you.
God bless you.

Wouldn't a signed contract that specifically states my MOS as "Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator" prevent them from doing that, though?
