My theory is that as long as the creature continues emitting those waves you will stay trapped until it is disturbed by something, which in your case it was disturbed by Christopher. So the only solution is to relax and wait. Maybe have a conversation with Christopher. First, take out all the park ranger pictures again, then kick the crack.

Headbutt the purple wall and say ''Chris try throwing the painting out of the window and see what happens.'' Mostly because kicking the crack again didn't decrease any health displayed on the health bar :v:

Throw the park ranger out of window, Order chris to watch what happens to park ranger. Then after he says the result punch the health bar just incase it does something, if it doesn't kick the crack while thinking of the person who's head you're stuck being hurt.
