Jesus, no, I am most definitely not buying this game anymore after playing the demo and all. It all just feels stupid to me.
Yeah a lot of stuff doesn't make sense, like as in why can't I shoot from my car in the second game but could in the first?
Damn PhysX. I'm glad it's rarely used, it's really just a big fuck you to ATI users.
I really lost a lot respect from the developers when I heard they decided to use PhysX in the game. It really is just a slap in the face for most people.
It is good however that not a lot is used by PhysX in the game though.
Those are some good points, it is a fun game but it does feel very restricted at what you can do.

Anyways, I don't understand the car shooting thing, but I do get the whole jumping thing, I mean, do you really need to jump? You can already vault over things, so why would you need to be able to jump in the middle of the street, in games like GTA, you could find yourselves on high building and stuff, then, it would be fun to jump, but in a game like Mafia, I don't really think it's neccessary.

Agh this is so dissapointing. No shooting and no melee pretty much breaks the game imo, so much satisfaction in nailing drivers in the face who were chasing you, and likewise in sneaking up behind someone and using the bat to knock them out...

No melee weapons? What. I pre-ordered this and have been playing through the original and am loving it, but why does the original have [b] more [/b] features?!
I like how he shot that woman, then put his gun away, and the police took a couple minutes to figure out it was him, where in games like GTA, you kill a person, with noone around, then the cops show up and shoot you immediately

To be honest, I couldn't see any difference between APEX and nothing. Well, besides the little pieces of metal off of the explosions. But that's it.
You pretty much hit the nail on the head about the issues. Although for me even with those issues the demo was still excellent.
Its weird how they added so many cool details but left out a lot of major ones.

Overall I still liked the game, but considering all the other titles coming out soon I'll wait for a bit.
Why do you need jumps? Jumps are for climbing ledges and stuff. You can do that. I don't understand why do you want to jump on a flat surface.
I don't really see that much of a difference between PhysX and the non PhysX game. Sure there's more flying debris and shit, but that seems to be it.
The clothing looked unnaturally light compared to the non physX.
I simply hate when you can't jump in a game. I feel so... limited.
