how can anyone not like this movie
it's stupidly awesome
I don't.
Oh man I forgot how cool this movie was. Definitely on my watch again soon list.
I think my favorite part is the fact that he is genuinely just a complete badass. Its not like most movies or other media where someone is better than him and he wins by luck or by some miracle or that he gets overpowered. No, he is a complete and total badass.
The fight with the body guard at the end in most movies would have been some drawn out sequence with the hero getting his shit kicked while only getting in a few lucky but not serious hits until at the last moment when he's about to be struck down he is able to find a way to kill him before finally stumbling on to the big bad.
But in this, he's just like "Nope, slice slice slice, you're dead."

The ending is the best part of the movie, but I didn't want to post it because of the spoilers. Although the movie is largely carried by its amazing visuals, I quite like the little excuse plot they made for the movie.
I watched this movie expecting stupid action with no plot. Instead I got such a surprisingly well-written and engaging story where the action seemed completely out of place. You could take the action out and it'd still be a good movie.
I love Christian Bale, he's just awesome and this movie is just amazing too
Sir, step away from the dog. Sir, put the dog down or we will open fire.
I think my biggest issue with the movie was that everyone was supposed to be emotionless machines yet most of the cops and such completely failed at that and the cop in the OP scene was like "AW SHIT SHOOT HIM!!!".
It would work better if either they managed to keep their face straight or if it was implied the government and police are crooked and the serum is only for controlling the general populace.

I feel like the drugs they used suppressed emotions rather than completely got rid of them. People can still show emotion when their life is threatened or adrenaline kicks in.
At least that's how I excuse all that haha

well, [sp]that is absolutely true for DuPont[/sp], but yes it's kind of dumb
The only single issue I have with the film is they re-use that one shitty rave song for every action sequence.
This movie is underrated as hell. Some of the non action moments are also very good. While most of the action is pretty great too(some are a bit "effort" at parts)
some guy recreated the final fight in ms paint
