uh it's a fan made movie bro the idea being that they shoot shit and have cgi
I see..
Really? An AC130 shot down by an RPG-7?
Could be done, RPG7's are free fire, so there's no chance the flares would catch it off. Million to one chance though, I agree [editline]5th September 2011[/editline] I just noticed: At around 3:07... Oh my god Price, a BOMB!
It's not a documentary it's a creative project based on an arcade-style video game.
Still, for a fan-film about a game that supposed to pride itself on ~~realism~~, errors like that really throw it off.
They couldn't have picked a worse place for the last battle scene on the field - I mean in a realistic combat scenario one party kills another in seconds on such a open area. It was nice CGI, however.
bla bla bla nuclear missile bomb

I don't think you know anything about the series. Ok here is how it works, the Barret didn't have recoil because it was setup and used by a great sniper, the RPG followed the AC130 because it used a special seeking warhead, and the daylight raid was Prices idea because fuck you.

Started off strong but got really cliche towards the end.
Its call of duty
My point exactly. [editline]6th September 2011[/editline]
Started off strong but got really cliche towards the end.
It's based on Call of Duty. I'd be disappointed if it ended with anything less than Price single-handedly holding off an entire squad of Russians with only his sidearm.

You can't get a homing "warhead" for an RPG-7, and Price is fucking stupid. Other than that, the video was actually pretty good. [editline]6th September 2011[/editline]
Its call of duty
Call of Duty doesn't have homing RPG-7s

Yes. People. I know none of the things I said were realistic. Because it is a video based on Call of Duty. Holy shit. My head is full of fuck. How can you not. Nevermind. [editline]6th September 2011[/editline] Yes. People. I know none of the things I said were realistic. Because it is a video based on Call of Duty. And I was trying to make it seem pseudo realistic. Like how CoD games do it Holy shit. My head is full of fuck. How can you not. Nevermind.

Oh my god Price, a BOMB!
considering the caliber of the weapons on a AC130 it would be no problem to be engaging targets accurately from over a kilometre away(that's actually a conservative guess). there's no way a RPG7 is reaching out and touching that
Plus, there's no way 1 RPG could totally destroy a AC130. Its not even fucking guided. Would had been better if it had been a 9K38 Igla.
I kind of like the idea of it being prequel to MW2. Very well made, but I, too, didn't buy RPGs locking on and destroying AC-130.
thought this was amazing. Voice acting could be better but a lot of the time I had to pause to decide whether something was CGI or real. also I thought Prices last stand was kinda stupid. They could have made it with him.
They sound like pirates.
By the way, RPGs can lock on in Bad Company 2
By the way, RPGs can lock on in Bad Company 2
With a tracer dart.
With a tracer dart.
Still, I don't think RPGs can trace [editline]7th September 2011[/editline] However it does say it uses a special warhead or something ingame I don't know
I fail to believe that a single RPG impact would cause an AC-130 to rip itself apart, yeah it'd do some damage, but I doubt that it would vaporize.
Well, if you're going to nitpick about that, don't forget that they are unguided and wouldn't even have the range (or accuracy) to reach an AC-130, which would realistically be flying much higher. [editline]11th September 2011[/editline] I've been beaten
Am I the only one who thought this was horrible? It has cool effects, yes, but so does Transformers. This is just Activision saying "lol we got munny here's a shiny video" The .50 cal was shit, the voice acting was shit, CG was p. cool, and that's about it. Everything else was mediocre or shit. [editline]10th September 2011[/editline] also everything sounded horrible
TORSING GRENAYDE God that voice acting is terrible
